and for anything that is attached to the 12v wiring that is pre-wired in the bed, I'm assuming it will be the case of always powered with an on/off switch that will have to be wired in as well.....am i wrong on this?
That opening next to the entertainment system is begging for a 6 or 8 gang switch to add all sorts of extras (bed lighting, fog lighting, interior ambient lighting, etc.)
Not really too concerned. I like the "just enough truck and just enough crossover" statement and that pretty much hits the nail on the head for me. Been looking at used crossovers to get out of my Frontier but I like having a little versatility when needed for the lowe's run I have to do...
I wouldn't be surprised if some manufacturers take out those guidelines. Less liability for those who use the "I followed the lines, it's Ford's fault that I totaled that car next to me". lol
I could be wrong but I believe that the inverter option without the lux package gives you an outlet inside the cab but not in the truck bed. It's funny how the window looks to be so much larger from the inside looking out, then the outside looking at the back window of the cab.
