I checked with a dealer. The answer was that a new car with 499 miles on it is still considered a new car and the warranty still applies. Mileage of 500 or over is considered a used car.

That is strange, I just read Ford is taking orders again, I don't know if I trust your dealer...

That's a long time waiting! I ordered mine, similar to yours, in early November, got a notice from Ford it will be built the first week in February.

I know of a 2008 Ranger Sport that sold for $19,000 in CA. It had 68,000 miles on it and was one owner.

Unfortunately, mine has been built yet, so have to wait to be accused of having 'a heavy foot' to try her out.

This information is listed in the Dealer's Sales Brochure as well as videos that I watched.. I hate to loose the Sport mode...

I went to the dealer to add an FX4 package yesterday. While I was there, they just unloaded an Ecoboost FX4, color Area 51 from a truck. When I asked when the guy ordered it, they said a long time ago...I don't expect mine to be built until March, if I am fortunate....I ordered mine on 11/5/21.

Haven't see any, but am watching the road, did not see any at a dealer either. Haven't seen mine since I did not receive it yet, do not expect it till mid 2022, earlier if I am fortunate. Changed my color from Velocity Blue to Hot Pepper Red. Am not in a hurry to get it.

Thanks! When I ordered it the dealer's salesman sent me a confirmation email. He also said that Ford accepted my order. So now, as you stated above, I'll wait for the VIN number, which I surmise could be 6 months from now. That's OK with me, I can wait.

I read somewhere that when all the options are available you ordered it with then they will notify you with a VIN number which means they will start building it. Apparently it is not simple to get them...

Interesting, I always thought we consider our cars to be a "she", I always considered all my cars as such and still do. I suppose it's up to each owner how he or she considers their car to be a he or she.

Does anyone know if the 18" wheels from a Bronco Sport will fit on a Maverick? I ordered my Maverick on the 5th of this month and I was told it could be up to 6 months or less to get it.
