I got my hands on a set of Bronco Sport take-off suspension parts. I keep seeing the front are the same as the Maverick, but I know they don't have the same part number from Ford. If they will work I was thinking of putting lowering springs on the Bronco Sport front suspension to make the swap...

I grabbed some orange transparent vinyl off of amazon and covered them. Also got some practice laying vinyl by using black vinyl on the center section, good practice for laying around complex curves.

I took the black plastic cover off and wrapped the outside, and they are wired to be on when driving. If I remember right there are 2 power wires and a ground, it can be wired so they only come on with the blinkers.

Got mine in and decided to make them match my marker lights a bit better. Did not like how yellow they were.

Yes, I cut pieces and carefully put them in through the hole, it was a pain to do but I wanted to. Unless you get right on top of it you cant really tell. If you get right on it you can see where I couldn't angle enough

I tried filling them up only partway up to the lip of the reflector on mine and it did leave some chrome in the base where the bulb sits, but I think either the fumes or whats left as it was being rinsed were enough to strip most of it. I just went back after and covered the cup with silver...
