I was mildly disappointed when TFL did their first slip test on the 2025 Maverick Hybrid that they purchased.
Looks like they were provided with an "updated" 2026 Maverick hybrid that fared much better on the slip test and the off road test, with apparently just software changes. Wonder if...
Generally yes. Heck, my F-250s would squeak and rattle so much that it became white noise after a while. When I got my GX470 (with 350,000 miles, mind you), it was so deathly quiet that it was surreal.
I agree. Squeaks and rattles that just need bolts tightened or foam tape applied are...
Same. I've had full-size trucks and started "right-sizing" several years ago. Landed on a midsize Nissan Frontier and now I'm just waiting for a preowned Maverick hybrid AWD 4k tow to hit the market.
My F-250s had the 8' bed. I always got the long bed for the bigger fuel tank. I could count on...
Same in basically all US states. Most states allow a strip at the top, but tinting the entire windshield is technically illegal.
However, 70% tint is virtually clear. I highly doubt I'd ever get stopped for it. Even an inspector wouldn't be able to tell the windshield is tinted unless they take...
Or the quality of everything surrounding the LED. The LED itself might be rated for 20,000 hours...in a perfect lab environment. But soldered to a circuit board with inferior heat dissipation and subject to vibration will drastically reduce that.
Also not better if they don't have the same...
They've had a utility trailer version for a while.

Hence why I ended up going with full windshield tint and a pop open sun shade tucked between the seat and center console. I've had roll up and Z-fold sun shades and there's no doubt they work better on an untinted windshield. But I am way too lazy to grab it from the bed or back seat, set it up...
I was about to say, I had a 5x8 version and it definitely was a two-person job to safely fold or unfold. And the casters suck; it's not like you can wheel it around on the tiny casters. More like, tip and roll a foot or two to park it against a wall.
I wish there was a utility version of the...
If it's what I'm thinking, you probably wouldn't notice it's tinted. I have 70% ceramic tint on the entire windshield and I'd have to tell you it was tinted for you to maybe see a difference.
A third vote for the Sylvania Zevos. Mine have been going strong for 5+ years across two different trucks.
One thing I appreciate about the Zevos are how the tail and brake light brightness's are significantly different, just like the regular incandescent bulbs. Other brands that I've seen and...
Or after a brake fluid change, they realize that the brakes aren't supposed to feel spongy, especially on long downhills where several brake applications are needed.
That's because U-haul trailers are freakin' heavy. The 6x12 open trailer is like 1700lbs, and the cargo is 1900lbs. 2000lb tow capacity doesn't leave any room for cargo weight.
Maybe the branch was willing to bend the rules or the database was updated. A Honda Element has a tow capacity of...
I just rent a trailer from U-Haul when I need to haul something I don't want to lift into the back. But that works for me since it's such an infrequent need that the added overhead (time spent going to pick up, use, then drop off) isn't a big deal.
A friend of mine bought a cheap 5x8 trailer...
I did the same on my current vehicle. 70% ceramic tint on the entire windshield. I park the truck outside in the Vegas summer heat and with just a cheap universal pop-open sunshade, the cab is barely warmer than ambient.
I'm not a fan of those Z-fold or roll-up sunshades. Yes they work better...
I like how the thumbnail was replaced with a different AI-generated one. At least the trailer is the right way around!
I agree. Don't get me wrong; there are tons of legit content creators that put a lot of effort into producing high quality original content. But there are also tons of...
Looks like another AI-generated video where a generated script is read and the "video" is just stock B-roll. Even the thumbnail doesn't make sense. Looks like a trailer body mounted backwards on the frame.
I am of a similar opinion. I bought Husky mats and Weathertech mats for previous vehicles and I don't think I'll get molded floormats again.
But I do prefer universal all-weather floormats versus carpet. Mostly cuz all-weather floormats are easier to shake clean and don't trap dirt and sand...
I use split wire loom and then wrap it with non-adhesive wire harness tape. The adhesive on electrical tape will turn into a gooey mess after a few heat cycles.
