Yea, guess that’s what I’ll end up doing. Just wish the “right way” didn’t also mean screwing up the paint. Would be a lot nicer if it actually popped out the way it was designed to.

Anyone have tips for the side markers? I have the bulbs but following the instructions in the manual just led to messing up paint near the marker when trying to pry it out with a trim tool. Mostly the driver side since the passenger is supposedly easy to access in the wheel well.
