I would add, it seems like a lot of people are getting calls or emails from their dealership about this. How about a follow up request for the dealership to provide a copy of their correspondence from Ford Corporate? I only ask because of all these new threads and conspiracy theories, no one...
I texted my salesman a request for a copy of the Customer Order Verification Program (COVP) email. He texted a copy right back to me immediately that confirms my order was verified by Ford Program Headquarters. It shouldn't be that difficult for the dealers to provide this verification if...
I think you may be getting scheduled and when produced a little confused. This next Thursday emails will be for the production week of March 21st. The production schedule for any weeks prior to that have already been filled during previous weeks. And not all of the orders filled will be...
Orders scheduled for production this week are 8 weeks out from being built (2 months) plus up to 4 weeks for deliver after production (1 month)...so 2 months is a flat out lie, 4 months is very unlikely. I won't even wager a guess, just here to provide facts.
Jbpoole is right...I would be asking alot of questions about monthly allocations and be concerned if they dont want to talk about it. That seems to be what is holding people's orders up the most, in my opinion. I wish I would have asked that question.
I would still say go talk to your dealer and ask them to contact you if someone backs out of their order...be sure to ask about additional dealer markup if it applies to cancelled order going into dealer stock. Cant hurt to ask.
During a previous Ford new vehicle purchase, this also happed to me. No idea why I hadn't received mailer or email but dealer said I was due the rebate based on address. I would think everyone going to pick up their new maverick should at least ask about it.
I have one that expired on 1/3 but when you read the fine print is says "order by" on that one. In my deal, there was a box to check when the dealer sent my order in Oct 15th that locked in that 750.00, whenever my order finally comes in. Not sure if this coupon is the same...read the fine print.
In Ohio, you do select a county to be a member in....but that has nothing to do with where you can use the discounts. I have used them out of state before, no questions asked.
I would say based on all the things you have going on at the moment with the move, I would punt on the purchase. Not because I want me or someone else to buy the truck, but based on the things you mentioned that worry you, you will never enjoy the truck. Once you get totally moved and...
Does the state of Wisconsin have inspections for equipment compliance on motor vehicles? The reason I ask is I am a retired law enforcement officer from Ohio. Until recently, we had 2 license plate requirement in our state. We primarily used the violation to stop cars due to suspicious...
Congratulations on getting the Maverick. The 8K is eye opening but not terrible for what the average dealer is adding for ADM for stock units near me. I would only suggest either buying the one you ordered when it comes in to sell it to recover some of the 8K or ask the dealership to give you...
