I want to thank this forum for the ideas. There are several posts about how to do this so a big thanks to several members relaying their DIYās.
The front leds are 13ā and fit in between the Ford emblem. The signal light flashes away from the wire end, so I did not want to drill a hole. Thatās...
Great. That would have been a much cleaner installation for me and less time, but more costly Iām sure. However for my installation, I also hooked up the turn signals.
You will need a ford pass account. Download the app. You definitely want to have it before you purchase your truck as you will get 42000 pts worth $210.
I did not see a problem with the led drl hook up on the passenger side marker. It appears to be working the same. I may post a picture later tonight. The OP did help in clarifying what to use thoughā¦so thanks.
So apparently my side marker is different or at least the passenger side is. I tried the above procedure to no avail. I ended up taking a few of the felt clips out and was fortunate to press the forward clip as shown in the picture. Then mine popped out. My side marker fits inside a box like...
I didnāt see your mpgs, but the OP was saying his car gets 48.9. My Mav hybrid gets avg 43 so way off of half in your comment. If you have electric, then yes, your option fits you.
Cross traffic warning and blind spot were disabled. Canāt remember, but the backup camera may have been also. A warning message came on to let you know they were disabled.
From my experience, the hitch wiring is connected to cp360 which cancels some of its functions when you connect to the 4 prong. I tried the led bar below the tailgate and got the warnings. I ended up connecting directly to each taillight and cp360 works as it should.
They probably donāt want you to come in the showroom with a snake and mask on!
Anyway, your point is well documented on this forum. It is no surprise to use at what appears to be either random or combinations of allocations, constraints, favored, you name it system. That in no way makes the...
Clarification understood. Ohio is not the same.
Of course in that particular situation. Unfortunately for me, my spur of the moments donāt always happen where I live.
Well yes and that is a fine example. Iām guilty of that also. Even going to a flea market or being out of town for whatever reason. I have marred a few trunk areas in the past. A truck bed is much more accessible and acceptable for many more items.
āYour #6. Interesting. Iāve only lived in Ohio and both are required.
Your #7. Sort of takes away the spur of the moment for that large purchase. But, that is possible if time is available and perhaps where you may be. My point was not cost related but the fact that where I happened to be, I...
So I didnāt want to read 5 pages to see if this point was brought out (yep, sorry), but Iāll concede the notion one can buy a trailer to haul things they āPLANā to pick up. Here are 4 reasons I would not want to do that.
1) spur of the moment large purchase (in favor of Maverick)
2) added...
I figured the dealer was the culprit. My $190 was for the xl hyb with hitch and cp360 so lower discount. They also said they were only making $400 on each truck. Which I stated how did Granger offer $3000 off MSRP. CRICKETS!
I was able to see the price with the x-plan and it amounted to $190 discount. Which, wasnāt much but would have been about half the cost of the DIBL. Anyway, after calling corporate, they said they reimburse the dealer for the discount. The dealer said they loose that money. Anyway, I gave up...
