I got mine from both sources…dealer and Ford corporate. I have never received an email from Ford even though they have it in the “system”. My 9/20 XL hy is 5/9 build with 6/13 delivery per dealer.

If you don’t have that info, they were able to give me mine so the next time I called, they were able to look things up easier.

I’ve never received an email, but did make the corporate call who gave me my vin. Also checked with my dealer today and they gave me a build date and deliver date…May and June respectively.

Otherwise, I’ve read in this forum there is a DIY way. But, that involves some Forscan programming which looks intimidating...

So I had a vin number and was able to see the progress. It was only in the first phase, not in production. I just checked the tracking and my order number and vin number comes up blank now. It is as if it was invalid. Anyone else experience this? The vin number is still associated with my account.

Anyone in Ohio area knowledgeable regarding the Forscan? I ordered the XL Hybrid and the only thing I know that I want to add is the cruise control. I know that I have to buy a couple of switches, but was wondering if someone in Ohio is willing to help out once I get my truck…whenever that will be?

Update: I received my vin# today 4/4/22 (it probably was available last week but I didn’t call). The build date is scheduled for 5/9. Yeah!

‘I like it also and if it were an option, I probably would have gone that route. I doubt I’ll be spending the money to change it over though, if in fact they can be switched.

I do not have my XL Hybrid yet, but I was reading in another post that the cruise control “module?” or it’s access, is in the XL truck. It just needs to be configured with Forscan and the appropriate switches added (simplified for this question). So how does the main OP table reflect that? Or...

Nothing here. But, I wasn’t expecting anything since I ordered my XL hybrid with 360 and a hitch on September 20. It is interesting, yet disturbing, that there are still open June and July orders when they are building those that were ordered much later.

I am going to stop by the dealer next week. I‘m not getting a straight answer to that question which is worrisome. However, everyone that I do talk to about my order (dealership & corporate) habe indicated that there is no issue in that part of it. My salesman ordered one also, so I want some...

So how did you go about adding the factory cruise control? Was it as simple as taking it to the dealer to add it? I’m hoping to get the XL and did not want to pay the extra package cost just to get it.

Yep, that is what I don’t understand which is why I wrote the previous post. Apparently, there are some dealers who either don’t do the ROVP either in time, correctly or at all…which makes little sense to me if you are a salesman/dealer.
