Looks like through november, they built approx 20k mavericks....anyone know how many maverick orders have been placed? I keep seeing figures like 100k up through october....which makes me think there are MANY more than that...so recent orders, like this week, may clearly be well over a year...

Slow speeds are your friend

When I picked up my hybrid on Dec 23, the dealer handed them to me...

Within an hour....ordered my second maverick, this one from Granger yesterday and within an hour the email was there.

ummm...again....NOT going down hill.....and of course it won't be nearly this low "over several tanks"....I was going 20-35 mph along the lake...and most of the miles were on "electric"....or the battery.

NO hills in Michigan. Under 40 mph, really 35 or less along the water sightseeing.

Crazy going under 40 for mpg. The first 2.8 miles I kept it at 20 mph for 220 mpg, then increased speed to 35ish and for 4.8 miles avg 85.3 mpg, when I got back home, I had gone 9.3 miles using 6.5 miles on electric and for an avg mpg of 53.9 mpg. Yeah...so I like playing.....

Does the plain jane XL, without 360 still have the rear view camera....brochure is VERY vague... I believe it DOES, but the brochure wants you to think you need to order 360 to get rear view camera. thanks!

XLT, 360, hitch and floor mats....that's it. Hybrid was the delay in shipping. Put cash deposit on at dealer on June 10th.

Ordered 6/10 XLT HYBRID....arrived at Northgate ford in Port Huron 12/23, picked up same day!

In Michigan...one of the nations HIGHEST insurance rate states.....my premium for a PAID in full year is 552 with a 1000 deductible....very cheap. I do have the 360 pkg, don't know if that made a difference or not.
