At my last fill up, I saw they had no ethanol gas, so I thought, "what the heck?" And filled up using that. I knew the mileage works be better, but it's a lot better. On the way down to San Antonio I got 33 mpg. On the way back I got 42. All highway, mostly 75 mph.
The regular gas was $3.67...
IAgree with much of what you said... I do find error with the statement below.
Hybrid drivetrains are electronically more complex, but mechanically far simpler. Pick your poison, I guess.
I've got a hybrid and got 40mpg on a road trip from Dallas to Galveston.
In my opinion, there are only two drive trains worth investigating. EB, AWD, +4k tow and hybrid. It's my opinion, but if you need towing beyond 2k or AWD, go for it. If not, save your money and go hybrid.
This is one of the times I've thought, man, what a good place for a truck.
Need a seat, here, let me lower the tailgate.
Wet stuff, throw it in the bed.
40 MPG, yes sir. I'll take that. The little truck did great getting is to Galveston and back.
😁
Love it! Was there an original dino DNA truck, or is this your creation?
To me, this build screams for the bed rack with some big ol' round lights on top...
