I am the guy that always parks at the back of the lot to avoid them! šā¦.not to mention the roof would rust out pretty quick with all the paint missing.
Will do! I am curious as well. I keep going back and forth on it. I was optimistic at first but seeing that almost every panel will need paint makes me think it will push it past the threshold.
I was out of town. The first pictures were from the wife. Second were when I got home and able to get more pics. I will keep you all updated on the final results when the adjuster can make it out. Letās add a poll for fun and see what happens!
The initial photos my wife took when she made it up to the airport to check on the truck. I was on a work trip until this morning so the other vehicles in the original picture may or may not have been there when the storm rolled through.
Got the truck home today and was able to look over it more. Still waiting on the adjuster but every panel has damage minus the tail gate and front bumper. Also almost every panel has paint flaking as well. I was surprised how bad the roof was. Around the 3rd brake light is a really big dent...
Couldnāt agree more, if I planned on trading my car I wouldnāt want it reported to keep the history clean but plan on giving this to my son when he turns 16 in 2 years so hopefully I will find out tomorrow what the estimate is.
We will see. The sand hides the severity but bed rails, roof, 3 of the 4 doors, both mirrorsā¦itās everywhere. The roof I think will be the worstā¦especially where it is at the seams.
It doesā¦I love my maverick! I donāt know if they make the sand dune color in the 2026 eitherā¦so maybe will look for a 2025 or switch it up and go back to an F-150 tremor with the coyote.
Well, I am on a work trip and the wife just called that Springfield mo just got baseball size hail. She went to the airport to check on my truck and it doesnāt look good. I am not an insurance adjuster but thinking it might be totaled. If it is, I will be posting up my custom black rhinos for...
I am for the tailgate damper. Very handy. I would stay clear of the hood struts. You will see multiple people who have installed them and taken them off due to them coming out of alignment and having issues opening the hood. I just installed a Rival skid plate on my 25 tremor. The biggest...
I would prefer not to ship. The box that came with the skid plate may have some oil on it from the oil change š¬. Gotta love the filter location on the ecoboost
Forgot to add, only 10,000 miles and off a 2025. Looks to be in great shape just needs wiped down. I do have some factory hardware leftover- 4 bolts for front of skid plate. Also, some rival bolts, rivnuts and washers to assist installing the factory skid plate to a non-tremor.
Putting on a Rival skid on during my oil change now and have the factory skid plate available for sale. I may have some rivnuts and hardware that came with the rival that will work with the factory plate for non tremor guys. Asking $100
Our 2025 Tremor is named Sandy. Kiddos named her. I have always owned white vehicles traditionally but loving everything about this truck. Recently put new black rhino wheels on her. To my knowledge, only Maverick with these wheels because you canāt just buy them off the shelf. They 17ā and...
