Interesting, I had considered XL in Velocity blue, and I'd thought about taking the crossbar off an painting it to match the Velocity blue paint. That would be a much more difficult task if the grill is molded as one-piece.

I live in the Ocala FL area and I've only seen one in the wild - Velocity blue in a Walmart parking lot. I travel for business and, frankly, I'm shocked I haven't see more. I have stopped at half a dozen or so Ford dealerships and looked Mavericks to get some ideas and clarity on options...

Wow - thanks for the photos - the one on my wife's Expedition works in a similar way, so that is exactly what I'm looking for. Definitely including the moonroof on my XLT when I order it.

That's great information, exactly what I was looking for. I plan to order the moonroof and also felt like it would give the Maverick and an upscale or slightly more luxurious feel. I think it has increased in price, maybe $995 now.
