  1. Lobo - To Turbofan or Not To Turbofan?

I personally like them, I wouldn't get them over my current wheels but 5x108 is a weird size so any new wheel options in the 19" range is a good thing.
  2. 🐺 2025 Maverick LOBO Performance Street Truck Official Debut!

I'm wondering how different the "quick shifting" transmission is compared to ours.
  3. 🐺 2025 Maverick LOBO Performance Street Truck Official Debut!

This is going to make the adding paddle shifters much easier most likely. Plus the gear selector has an "M" in the center and should be a direct replacement.
  4. how do you protect the bed side wall paint?

For the bottom of the bed and the tailgate I use a horse stall mat from Tractor Supply that I cut to size and it works great. I don't protect the sides because I usually don't put anything more than wheels and tires or bicycles in the bed. A tonneau cover works great for UV protection. For the...
  5. Are adjustable rear toe links necessary for lowering?

You will need an alignment after lowering no matter which drivetrain you have since this will change the suspension geometry. Usually lowering will increase negative camber if you don't get an alignment and cause more inner tire wear. I have the AWD and there is no camber adjustment in the rear...
  6. Front Brembo Brakes Kit coming soon

Thank you for the work you're putting in to give us the Maverick ST/RS that Ford won't. The people who don't understand why we want this probably don't understand why the SRT-10 Ram (specifically the single cab version), GMC Syclone, Tacoma X-Runner, Silverado SS 454, 1st and 2nd generations of...
  7. $15 Muffler delete Sound Test DIY (Love the sound)

Do you have any sound clips from outside the truck?
  8. COBB TUning Accessport for 2.0L Maverick!!!

The page shows it's 50 state legal and it has a CARB EO number. It looks like us California people are going to have CARB legal tunes. Below is the link for EO. https://ww2.arb.ca.gov/sites/default/files/aftermarket/devices/eo/d-660-124.pdf
  9. Eibach Lowering Springs Now Available

As far as I'm aware (someone please correct me if I'm wrong), neither the FWD or the AWD have adjustable camber in the rear from the factory. The reason is most likely to lower production costs.
  10. Eibach Lowering Springs Now Available

Guess I'm just gonna be rotating tires often until someone comes out with a camber kit that works for lowered applications.
  11. Eibach Lowering Springs Now Available

Here is the response I got from Eibach. I was looking for a simple yes or no that their lowering springs are/are not compatible with their camber arm kit, but it seems they're either unable or unwilling to give a direct response to my question. I'm not asking about coilovers, I'm asking about...
  12. Eibach Lowering Springs Now Available

I just emailed Eibach to see if they're compatible. Good point though, I just assumed it'd be an adjustable lower control arm. We'll see what they come back with though.
  13. Eibach Lowering Springs Now Available

I wanted a high performance summer tire that gives a lot of feedback and grips well. These were the closest to stock diameter I could get in with the Apex V601's with the width that I'm running. A bonus of having a smaller sidewall is reducing sidewall flexing in a corner. My goal is to have...
  14. Eibach Lowering Springs Now Available

I haven't heard that, and it would surprise me if Eibach's lowering springs don't work with Eibach lower control arms. But if they don't it's not a big deal, just have to rotate tires more often and deal with it. I'm not running directional tires and it's a square setup.
  15. Eibach Lowering Springs Now Available

Wheels are Sparco DRS 19x8 +45 offset, tires are Yokohama Advan Apex V601 in 245/45-19. There is a little poke at the front where the fender gets narrower to meet the bumper, but other than that there isn't any poke. I could run a 5 mil spacer safely to change to a +40 offset and get a little...
  16. Eibach Lowering Springs Now Available

You're correct the AWD H&R Super Sports are a little bit lower. When I ordered my Eibach springs on the 18th of November the Super Sports weren't available and the ETA for release was Q1 2023. AWD H&R Sport: Front -1.5" Rear -2.0" AWD Eibach Pro Kit Performance: Front -2.0" Rear -2.9" AWD H&R...
  17. Eibach Lowering Springs Now Available

I don't notice any excessive camber by eye on the fronts, but I'm not a precisely calibrated laser alignment rack 😁. The rears do have camber and while it's not that bad I do plan on eventually getting the cam bolts and adjustable rear arms just to straighten it out.
  18. Eibach Lowering Springs Now Available

AWD lowering springs installed! I'm definitely glad I waited to go with the Eibach's because I feel like the H&R's wouldn't be low enough for my liking (I kinda want it another inch lower already). These really take care of the excessive wheel gap, especially since I'm running an overall smaller...
  19. Eibach Lowering Springs Now Available

Here is a really good YouTube video of a lift kit being installed on the Maverick. It's very detailed on the disassembly and reassembly which will be mostly the same for installing lowering springs.
  20. CARB (California) Legal Intakes

That only works until a cop pulls you over and tells you to pop the hood. My 350z is registered in Florida (military) and earlier this year I got a loud exhaust ticket and had to go see the state referee even though it's not registered in California. They don't care where your car is registered...
