I'm not sure, but the whole interior of the Element was waterproof. And the seats could recline 100% or fold up along the side of the vehicle. Check out the payload area:
I can't believe that some of the features of the Element haven't continued in another vehicle line. The flip up/down seats are absolutely amazing for loading cargo, the waterproof interior, etc. ... I know the boxy styling isn't as "cool" as other vehicles, but from a "use" standpoint, it's...
@STARCOMMTREY1 got me!
Did anyone else hear Rick Astley in their head when they realized what this post was about? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I was mave-RICK ROLLED!
AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH! I was scheduled for pickup tomorrow, but the service dept is short-handed and won't have the accessories on in time! Postponed until Monday. Dang Illinois and the dealerships closed on Sunday law!
EPA ratings are for 37 mpg combined......so she's not really that far off??? I know there's people posting some high numbers, but maybe that's due to factors beyond your control?
I originally thought the same thing, but now I wonder if it would be too easy to accidentally leave the car "running" if there's no ICE noise. Needing the key would help prevent that. (just my thoughts as I'm still awaiting delivery)
Right? You'd think I'd be for everyone getting something. But IMHO, awards are starting to lose their appeal now that everybody expects one. I'd much rather sell a nice, high-end custom trophy to someone that earned it, rather than a bunch of low-margin, throw-away crap. But that's just me.
I work in the awards and recognition industry, so if any of you want an ACTUAL trophy made up for something like this, I'm your man!
Believe it or not, I'm against participation awards.... getting recognized for just showing up is a little ridiculous.
Right?! I took a little off the table today. Still a great stock with an incredible outlook, but ya gotta take some profits or the "win" is only on paper! I'm really curious what's gonna happen with the Ford stake in Rivian. That 12% is worth some big $$$.
Mine should be arriving really soon. It's been sitting at the Chicago Heights rail station for a while awaiting the truck ride to my dealer. Tracker says estimated delivery 1/4-1/9.
Base model does have some nice standard features....but the range is really low. EPA 230 miles, which as the battery degrades (or with lots of accessory use like heat/ac/etc) will end up being much less. I'm sure it's good for the average person, but I'd have some range anxiety with that.
My estimated delivery window ends today. Nothing yet. Sitting at the rail depot for a while now. No bedliner, so shouldn't be any recall. At what point did you get your "delivery date change" email from Ford?
