  1. Great news for those of you who havent gotten your mavericks!

I'm not sure, but the whole interior of the Element was waterproof. And the seats could recline 100% or fold up along the side of the vehicle. Check out the payload area:
  2. Great news for those of you who havent gotten your mavericks!

I can't believe that some of the features of the Element haven't continued in another vehicle line. The flip up/down seats are absolutely amazing for loading cargo, the waterproof interior, etc. ... I know the boxy styling isn't as "cool" as other vehicles, but from a "use" standpoint, it's...
  3. Great news for those of you who havent gotten your mavericks!

That car was so ahead of its time. Great runner, great utility factor, great features. I wish they never stopped producing it!
  4. increase battery capacity?

I think you'd be better off with a PHEV. Maybe that'll be a Maverick option in the future.
  5. Great news for those of you who havent gotten your mavericks!

@STARCOMMTREY1 got me! Did anyone else hear Rick Astley in their head when they realized what this post was about? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I was mave-RICK ROLLED!
  6. Great news for those of you who havent gotten your mavericks!

AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH! I was scheduled for pickup tomorrow, but the service dept is short-handed and won't have the accessories on in time! Postponed until Monday. Dang Illinois and the dealerships closed on Sunday law!
  7. A few MPG and Eco mode questions ?

EPA ratings are for 37 mpg combined......so she's not really that far off??? I know there's people posting some high numbers, but maybe that's due to factors beyond your control?
  8. How many of you Mav owners have seen another Mav on the road?

Even more rare (if it's even happened yet)....have any Hybrid Mav owners seen another Hybrid Mav on the road?
  9. Honest opinion from Hybrid Mav owners

I originally thought the same thing, but now I wonder if it would be too easy to accidentally leave the car "running" if there's no ICE noise. Needing the key would help prevent that. (just my thoughts as I'm still awaiting delivery)
  10. I have both found out what my rattle was and won dumbass of the year!

Right? You'd think I'd be for everyone getting something. But IMHO, awards are starting to lose their appeal now that everybody expects one. I'd much rather sell a nice, high-end custom trophy to someone that earned it, rather than a bunch of low-margin, throw-away crap. But that's just me.
  11. I have both found out what my rattle was and won dumbass of the year!

I work in the awards and recognition industry, so if any of you want an ACTUAL trophy made up for something like this, I'm your man! Believe it or not, I'm against participation awards.... getting recognized for just showing up is a little ridiculous.
  12. F150 Lightning Build & Price Online

Right?! I took a little off the table today. Still a great stock with an incredible outlook, but ya gotta take some profits or the "win" is only on paper! I'm really curious what's gonna happen with the Ford stake in Rivian. That 12% is worth some big $$$.
  13. 📈 Our 2022 Maverick Order Stats / Take Rates From 4,000+ Submissions

Mine should be arriving really soon. It's been sitting at the Chicago Heights rail station for a while awaiting the truck ride to my dealer. Tracker says estimated delivery 1/4-1/9.
  14. January Inaugural Rig Photo Competition for Mavericks (Edited)

Someone had posted pics using the bed inverter to power xmas lights. That'd be my vote for "winter" pic.
  15. F150 Lightning Build & Price Online

Ford announced (just this morning) a significant boost to lightning production. It won't be close to 3 years. But it won't be quick, either.
  16. F150 Lightning Build & Price Online

Base model does have some nice standard features....but the range is really low. EPA 230 miles, which as the battery degrades (or with lots of accessory use like heat/ac/etc) will end up being much less. I'm sure it's good for the average person, but I'd have some range anxiety with that.
  17. Maverick Shipped.

My estimated delivery window ends today. Nothing yet. Sitting at the rail depot for a while now. No bedliner, so shouldn't be any recall. At what point did you get your "delivery date change" email from Ford?
  18. Does 2022 XLT have Adaptive Speed Control?

Nope. Only if you get the Lariat.
  19. Hybrid won't run. Sitting at dealer (now running after a month at dealership)

If it's hybrid related (seems to be the case) the factory warranty is 8 years.
