I wonder if Ford had any idea how much trouble it was getting into when the Maverick hybrid was so popular with impatient millennials and generation Z.
I wonder what Ford will do with those of us procrastinators who waited until November to order the hybrid. I'm afraid that any minor hiccups in production and they will never have time to finish before they have to retool for the 2023 my.
Seems obvious to me that as hard as it is to get one, keeping it might be harder. Probably going to be the most stolen vehicle ever. Look out insurance rates.
Haven't got it yet but my XLT with co-pilot, trailer hitch and inverter, tax, title and "prep" is still under 29k. I never thought I could afford a new vehicle, let alone a truck, on my retirement income. This is a dream come true for me.

Don't get excited boys and girls, it takes a while for suppliers to develop and make new products. I ordered my truck 11/4 so I guess about April or May if all goes well I will get my truck and suppliers should have covers should be available.
I live in Arizona where a lot of rural highways are 65 and passing someone going 45-50 isn’t uncommon. You just have to get a feel for what you can and can’t do and pass safely, my Triton 4.5L isn’t exactly going to blow someone off the road if you have to slow down before you pass.

Cleanup scheduling - if you have orders that haven't been filled yet, you produce them before open stock. Since Maverick is sold out I'd worry if it said anything else.
I'm just happy that I actually got to see one. Just watching the video answers most of my questions. Nothing like buying a pig in a poke. But I feel much better about my decision now.
