The only thing I’d suggest while you are doing upgrades is go ahead and apply sound deadening to the back wall, under the rear seats, and in the doors while you have everything apart. It seemed to help reduce road noise.

I was able to get the rear speakers to sound better with the dsp, but I wouldn’t waste much time...
The PUZU DSL allows me to control each one separately, only run 1 most of the time. DSP is about $135 and has a built in amplifier for other speakers. The DSL is the GameChanger of the system IMO
Install a PUZU dsp, it comes with a plug and play harness.

I’m averaging 32.4mpg since I received my Maverick on 12/1/23. I have 9500 miles on it, driving 150-175 miles per day, all interstate. Set cruise 74 mph. I have seen some mpg above 35mpg when I travel 2 lane roads with cruise set at 58 mph. I’m very pleased. Most of my travel exceeds 40-50 miles...

Are you putting a shallow 10” or 12” in this box? I am considering building a box out of fiberglass to get a little more airspace. Thank you for these dimensions, that gives me a great starting point.
