I thought of pulleys at first then decided on The cambuckle straps rated at 100lb load each for this purpose. But heck yeah, this setup would be upgraded with pulleys and tieoffs to 'lighten the load' for other things... Like the hood for when I do that ' hood vent project'. 🤓
It sounds like it's also useful for other stuff for him by the other pictures he put , so it works for him. Until I get a topper I like on my Mav , that setup is doubling as a garage bike track 🤓. Thanks for viewing my post!
Inspired to share this after seeing Racktrip's post about his wooden gantry for his topper.. I set up a system for my old Dakota topper that used the rafters in my garage ceiling...
When I get a topper for my Mav it should fit just right.

Hmmm. I think cutting my own vents in my hood will function better.. won't be my first rodeo to do that...but I'm going to find another hood to cut on...
I was given the Ford soft roll up to know as a gift after I got my Mav. I'm liking how that one lays on the bed. It doesn't cover up the top of the side rails
Congrats on your tow and boat fun! I am a fan of the Timbren system. I had front and back sets for my previous '05 Dakota. Planning on getting a rear set for my '22 XL..just deciding which of the 2 options to get....

I bought these for 50% off on Amazon. I figured they were may be a Return or old stock if a newer version was made..
** I did find 1 of them already had some 'attempt' at using...
Very nice! With larger tires (bigger diameter) your Speedo will register slower than actual speed and less than actual miles - slightly. I don't remember what the exact sizes were on my other truck but going from 60 series tire to a 70 series (don't quote me) - I had a 1/10 mile difference. So...
Looks great, especially with the old style Maverick badge. I've still got the original metal one from my dad's '73 Maverick but I'm too worried about it getting snatched if I put it on my Mav.. I'll have to look up the replicas online.. Or just get the Longhorns cut out in vinyl and do something...
An older Garmin nüviCam™ LMTHD that I had on my previous Dodge Dakota. It has wireless rear backup cam as well but I don't use it since my Mav has one that's good enough. I am considering a rear facing cam though.
