Nice! I think my recent acquisition is about the same package as this except Area 51 for the color.

Got my first "Can I see your truck?" guy in the parking lot at Menards today. He has an F150 now that he says is way bigger than he needs and has been thinking about a Maverick.

I just got mine last weekend and the dealer said there were no Maverick options from Ford for financing, at least not competitive rates. I was able to get 5.75% through my dealer and a local CU.

Seems a little much to me.

Hello, Hopefully not a stupid question... Now that I have my 23 XLT hybrid I see the original steel rims that come with the XL on Marketplace for as little as $100 for all 4. My I don't think stupid plan is to pick up a set of those and put pure winter tires on them and then swap out...

Got it! Will pick up tomorrow. Paid $1,500 ADM, so got them to come down $500. One factor I liked is my salesman was off today so I was working directly with the manager. I hate negotiating with a "middle man" who has to check with his boss, so I think I got the $500 off because I was dealing...

Test driving tomorrow. I did drive by it yesterday on my way home after they were closed.

I would surmise that would be the dealer response. I give me less than 50% chance of getting my base XL hybrid and I am limping along with an '06 Subaru.

This pricing is also before the latest Ford price increase.

I tried to negotiate, but they said if I don't buy it they will list for sale with an ADM of $3500 and other sales people are "chomping at the bit" for it. I do have a $500 farm bureau coupon.

Can I get your opinion on this package please? Dealer has offered to me with an additional $2k ADM ($31,300). This is in the same color I ordered. I have an XL hybrid on order with them now, but no build date. Steve

Yes, but…. When I ordered my hybrid Maverick from the big local Ford dealer with the huge FORD sign out front and they told me I would get it in 4-6 months. As a normal consumer I had no reason to doubt them.

So in 2022 why did Ford take so many orders of hybrids over what they expect to be able to build? String us along and hope we switch to an ecoboost? Their program should have shut off hybrid orders earlier if that was the case. Still feel a normal consumer expects to get a vehicle they ordered...
