I copied this one & it works fine for me. Without it, I would get water running out between left taillight and body when driving in rain. In all fairness, I'm in NE FL with no snow/ice,, but we do get rain so it's been plenty wet. Had one on a previous Maverick for six months. 3K miles, & now...
Next time, BEFORE removing tape covering, position the piece where you want it. See post 20, using a small piece of painters tape to hold it in place. (see dotted line post #20). CAREFULLY cut tape between hood & guard, leaving a piece on hood & a piece on guard. Start to remove 2 sided tape...
Never got around to it. My Lariat Hybrid was a rattler & sleeper. It’s been replaced by a XLT FX4. I did use Plastidip on Ford tailgate emblem & AWD letters.
Other than the weight of the skid plate, it’s easy. I bought oil (5qt+1qt Valvoline & MC910S @ Walmart For just over $40. I also used homemade ramps. With the skidplate off you can get a good look at everything & check for any leaks.
Don’t know about the hood scoop, but would likely need an extra credit card next time you get your Maverick weighed.
May also expect inside tread tire wear.

I’ve wanted a Ridgeline for a long time. Wife had a 17 Pilot for a while. Their AWD system was great. Was very close to purchasing a Ridgeline but held off due to over MSRP dealers.
Did get a 24 Lariat Hybrid that unfortunately turned out to be a...
Be advised, I wired mine to the front side marker light, they were on with parking or headlights.
Measure/drill carefull. That space on a Lariat grill is right at 3/4”.
The round rubber gasket goes in first, then the plastic light is pushed in.

I’ve used (Amazon) Partsam 3/4“ smoked led clearance (amber) on my Bronco Sport & F150. They look good & never had any issues. They take a 3/4” hole.
i wanted to use them on my 24 Lariat Maverick. A 3/4” hole would get very slightly into the top/bottom of those...
I’ve used EGRs on a Bronco Sport & two Mavericks all with tinted front windows. Had the BS 12 months, no issues at all. One Maverick 6 months, no issues, no scratches on the one I have now. This was my 1st Maverick. Stretch to see vent shades better.
To me it was unethical (especially for the dealership owner) to take a customer ordered vehicle anywhere off the lot. Except of course to fuel or get SIBL, etc.
I would be upset, and may have walked away.
But unlikely any damage occurred, and it is under warranty.
When I bought my 24 XLT FX4...
