I’m considering putting bright red lettering on my Hot Pepper Red tailgate. Any comments? Has anyone else done something similar? I think lettering just a shade darker or lighter than the trucks paint color would look fantastic. Hopefully someone has done it and can post photos.

Why would it be illegal? I drive an 18 wheeler that has side marker turn signal lights from the factory. Next time you are out for a drive take a look at the lighting on the big trucks. And by the way, I think it’s a stupid mod no matter what part is lit but to each his own. Enjoy!

I might give it another shot. I like those wheels. I’ve been looking at getting a set but wasn’t sure how they would look. Now that I’ve seen how they look on the Maverick I think I’m going to go for it.

Same as you. Klutchteck. Mine came with a spring but it did not help.

When I installed the hood struts I couldn’t open the hood. I had to have someone pull the release while I pulled up on the hood. I couldn’t correct it so I removed the struts and threw them away. Did you have any problems with the struts and if so how did you fix it?

The bug deflecter is to protect the leading edge of the hood. If you want to cut down on windshield splatter go old school like this…
