Love that navy blue. I like the fact that these pics make it look darker than some of the other pics. It’s not as in your face as some of us thought. I think my main concerns were road noise (acoustic windshield), ride quality/handling and just overall comfort sitting in it for a while driving...

Interesting. My CSR said she can’t tell when it can be scheduled but said that it’s eligible to be scheduled since it’s “clean”, and that she can’t guess or estimate when it can happen. She did say that it is moving and that it started to move slower than they would have liked. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Here’s the caveat: I messages the sales rep about an hour before to have him take off the tonneau cover and he just said “Ok.”, then I called Ford, so I’m not sure if the clean status is with or without it. The lady on the phone said that they can’t see order specifics.

I just got off the phone with Ford. Got the confirmation that mine is listed as “Unscheduled - CLEAN”, so that makes me feel a lot better about delays or commodities issues. Area 51 Lariat Lux w/ AWD EB, had a tonneau cover, but asked the dealer to remove it from the order.

I haven’t even dealt with the sales manager, only the rep. He’s been doing this for years and has gotten countless positive reviews on Google and Dealer Rater, but he doesn’t check my priority number, even if I asked and just gives me short answers. $35k before fees gets me that service. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I might just stop by my local Hyundai place to see if they have one, just for kicks.

Yeah, I ordered the Lux package that comes with the spray in and got multiple assurances that it was only standalone spray in liners causing a delay. I just messaged my sales rep and asked him to remove the tonneau from my order. I wish he were more keyed in to the information going out online...

Damn. I didn’t know the tonneau’s were delay items. 😦😦😦 I’ll have to change that now.

Maybe she’s talking about a stock unit for their training? No hate, but I highly doubt your truck is already built when everyone is getting scheduled for September build dates so far.

Meh. I’ll happily spend Lariat Lux money before going to Hyundai. Nothing harsh against them, but I’ll spend $36k on Ford’s specialty (truck) than a Hyundai roll of the dice.

I actually was told by my dealer that my driver’s license wasn’t necessary. I got an email confirmation the same day I reserved and ordered.
