That is surprising. Interesting that the Ford numbers show the Maverick Hybrid at 3674 and the Fusion Hybrid at 3668. Escape Hybrid FWD shows at 3554.

I cannot see the Maverick being lighter than the Fusion Hybrid. It's longer and built to handle quite a bit more payload and towing. Just guessing here, but it may even be heavier than the Escape Hybrid.

Every poll I have seen shows that orders for the hybrid are well above the 2.0 version. Also, XLT is the prominent trim choice. Hopefully, that might mean XLT hybrids have a very good chance of getting scheduled for production right away. I can dream, right?
