Purchased Ford Maverick floor mates, Ford DIBL from dealership. Plus, EGR In-Channel Window Deflector from Real Truck. Prepping for my 2023 Hybrid which is in Petersburg Va. ( only 2 hrs. away) to catch a transport to dealership. Has been (or some form of the original order) since 10/06/2021.
Buying any vehicle with an extreme makeup to me is foolish. Just like the house market when you Grossley overpay, in most cases you will lose. At these prices you might want to look at a Santa Cruz. The truth, it's a free market.
In the past I have owned a 1981 Datsun diesel pickup and a 2000 Chevy S10 which I still drive. So. I didn't need a test drive, I'm sure this will be a step up. In transit right now.
Yesterday I said I was waiting for a train to come my way with my XLT since it went into production the week of 1/19/23. Well, the tracker just turned green on build. Next is shipped.
Yes, only Hybrid this week. Ordered mine 10/06/2021 and today, Ford Tracking list it as in production. So, to all who ordered in 22, one more will be out of the way and the line is getting shorter. Hang in there, patience is a virtue. :)
At 75 I have always loved a truck. My biggest issue is I barely stand 5ft 7in. Love the smaller trucks. Had an 81 Datsun Diesel, bought it over VW truck, which I ran 20 years. Then I bought a 2000 Chevy S10 LS. Still driving the S10. Always had a sedan to go with the trucks. Ordered 2022...
Since an impaired driver totaled my 2019 Hoda Civic Coupe I am currently driving a 2000 Chevy S10, 145,000 miles. I have had it for 10 years and have reworked mechanical parts, plus have redone the inside, including upgrading the sound system. Already sold when my Maverick gets here.
As far as vehicles I've had a few. Two Volkswagens in the 60's, Dodge Swinger, Oldsmobile 88, a couple of Saab's and a Mini Cooper. When it comes to trucks this will be my 3rd. My first was a 1981 Datsun diesel. I currently have a 2000 Chevy S10 LS. I just got rid of a 2019 Honda Civic 2dr...
I don't have a 2023 build date but, I do have a build date for the week of Nov 08. So, mine will be a 22 and 3/4. Kind of like a 1965 and 1/2 Mustang. Last of the 22's. Luck to all who have ordered 2023's.
I live in the Waynesboro area and have seen five, one was in Greenville S.C. Three were moving, but I got to see two up close. One was at local dealership the other at local Food Lion. I waited for the owner and asked if it was all he expected. He gave a resounding "Yes". It was a Hybrid XLT the...
75 next month. 51 years in the optical business. Licensed Optician for the last 40 years. Was semi-retired but since Covid I'm back full time because the younger folks decided to retire.
Glad you are confirmed. I have been on order since 10/06/2021 and was given a Vin a couple of weeks ago. But yesterday confirmed that the wait shall be worth it. While leaving local grocery store, I spied an Area 51 XLT Hybrid. Exactly the same as I have ordered except mine will be, the one year...
Got a call from my sales rep today. I have a Vin. I also checked Ford Tracking and all things looking good. Have a production date of 10/30/22. So won't have for B-day but Xmas looking good.
Ordered my Hybrid XLT with Lux package Oct 5th. Cancelled Lux package in Feb. Order is priority 2 and has been since March. No Vin still waiting and feel most likely I'm looking at a 23. Hybrid is probably my issue. Such is the car business today. I'm 75 this Oct and hoping for B Day Maverick
