Yep, the initial one I was looking at was just stock inventory but they sold it out from under me to someone else the day I was supposed to sign the paperwork. Then they did a dealer transfer to get mine in. I was a little miffed about it but I ended up getting a better deal due to the employee...
Ok, I did some testing and it turns out I'm just an idiot. Doing a remote start via Ford Pass *with the doors open* does NOT prevent the doors from locking. They lock right before the truck starts as usual. I could have sworn I heard the doors lock when I closed them the other day, but I guess I...
I believe lane keep assist and lane centering are two different things. All trucks get the lane keep assist feature but only a specific package adds lane centering. Think it's the adaptive cruise package, not sure what the package is actually called though.
After re-reading the OP, I agree my scenario was totally different. It's confusing because of all the different combinations of remote start and keyless entry available on the Mavericks. For posterity I have a base model Maverick with a standard keyed ignition(no push to start), no proximity...
Well this just bit me in the ass with my 2025. I was out riding dirt bikes so I used the Ford Pass app to purposely lock my keys in the truck so I wouldn't have to carry them with me while I was riding. (I'm always paranoid about losing them.) When I got done riding I used the Ford app to unlock...
Yeah, all the other stuff on here is really petty, but I have def noticed the brakes grabbing at slow speed. I was hoping it would get better as the brake pads wear in.
Would not recommend using those 3M splice connectors in an area exposed to the elements like that. Especially if you're in an area that uses road salt in the winter.
Neat! I wonder how much that topper hurts the fuel mileage. I've seen a few work Mavs in my area recently. Mostly Johnson Controls service trucks. Cool to see though!
Taking the Camper out for a test run before some camping this coming weekend.
Nice thing about the size of the Mav is I can clear the propane tank on the camper with the tailgate down allowing me to easily load/unload dirt bike and other cargo in the bed with the camper still hitched.
Loving...
It would be nice to be able to close the tailgate, but honestly after hauling my dirt bike on the tailgate with my frontier for the last 5 years or so I've never had a single issue with it. If I'm carrying a bunch of stuff in the bed I just make use of the little slots in the bed to run a board...
I'm firmly within the age demographic. Moved from a '12 Nissan Frontier after the transmission died at 205K miles. I went with the Maverick because I mostly use my truck for hauling my dirt bike to trails and race events 2-3 hours from home. Wanted something I could still put my bike into the...
