No emails from Ford this week (so far) but Ford chat informed me that my rolled-over cancelled VIN 22 to 23 build date went from Jan 6 to Jan 10, so a mini-pushback. I was expecting this as the date approached. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Crossroads Ford of Wake Forest tried similar BS with me for a $497 surface protection package. I said that if it’s not on my order sheet then I didn’t agree to it. Also copied a state attorney on my email to them (NC is looking to pass legislation that will make these dealer scams illegal). They...
You need to stay on top of your order yourself. Ford won’t tell you about changes and certainly your dealer won’t either. The ONLY way I’ve found out about my 2022 order being moved 14 times was by contacting Ford customer dis-service. Now my re-scheduled as a 2023 order has already been moved...
This really has been an entertaining experience, so much so that I’ve stopped reading. I’m not going to bash Ford anymore because of what they do TO their customers (not FOR them). Heading over to the Santa Cruz forum now where none of this asinine back and forth argumentation is needed. I once...
This and the fact there were so many cancelled 2022 orders that needed to be "prioritized" (they've been scheduling those for a few weeks now) also pushes out most 2023 brand new orders except for EB engines without constraints.
I sold a base XL hybrid this week to a private party for $29k (purchased at $22.7k). I sold a lariat hybrid in August to a DEALER for a $6000 profit. I believe the hybrids of this vehicle will continue to command higher prices for the foreseeable future unless........A. the Mav proves to be a...
Much better things to bash Ford over.........@ford motor company
* Piss poor communications with their customers
* Piss poor communications with their customers
* Terrible handling of suppliers to ensure adequate parts for launch
* Quality that has gotten so bad that they have to account for...
Definitely FUBAR. Been waiting since October '21 and now have a build date in sight for a '23 that had been a '22 and got cancelled. There are MANY out here who will never use Ford again for a variety of reasons. I cannot agree more that this has been the single worst customer experience I have...
Knock on wood, but my son continues to drive a 2013 Sonata at 130,000 miles with no major mechanical issues. I had an early version Santa Fe that was a lemon. Had another Santa Fe that got its short block replaced right after we bought it used (under warranty) that my son then totaled shortly...
Interesting vehicle but I have Zero interest in all-electric vehicles since you MUST stop every 200 miles or so for at least 30 minutes after actually finding a place to stop and re-charge. Oh, it is FUGLY also.
I had a Lariat for a brief stay of 8 months and the seats were very nice and withstood a Doberman in the backseat on numerous 400 mile trips - probably at least a dozen. I've had less experience with the XL interior and would agree that the cloth fabric used is, indeed, garbage.
I do as well. I'm reaching a point similar to this. As I type this, I can honestly say I never even want to see the word "Ford" in any context......ever, let alone ever giving them my money. I don't care if a dealer makes money on it. That's not MY problem. I can't control any of this, so I will...
Yeah, kind of why I was asking. Many things in this thread have been stated without proof, sources. Many here are living proof of what a debacle this has become unfortunately.
