I love my maverick
love my maverick .They should of told me that ready for towing is only a four prong not 7 like most trailers are.Ford wanted 1300.00 to ad some wires and make it a 7,U-Haul did for 350 and that included the blue tooth adapter
Hi guys
Yes just finished
9000 mile trip across USA pulling the rockwood tent trailer
Ford didn’t supply a 7 prong hook up ( not sure why when they said it had towing abilities )and wanted 1300.00 to install
U-Haul did for 375.00 and it included the blue tooth connector . Worked like a charm...
At first seats were tight on back of thighs,
My complaint would be having to push so many buttons to get it into echo mode
It should start off in echo mode.
Engineering dept screw that up.
Also what is with the little cubby hole?
Why not just give us a bigger screen ?
lol
We did same
I got u haul do do connector and they got me into a blue tooth brake control
So far great
Made it from ca to New Hampshire
Then taking a month to go back
We are pulling 1600 lb tent trailer. truck is full of camping stuff. Going across us
So far 26 mpg
I had U-Haul put on 7 plug on and went with a blur tooth connector
I don’t know why ford didn’t put on
It came with tow bar ect
They make a blue tooth braking unit
So easy to use
Don’t know why ford didn’t put in a plug for trailers
Ford wanted 1300 dollars for hooking it up
I told him I had tower ect
U-Haul charges 350 to wire and that includes blue tooth unit
My unit has breakes
so far
New Hampshire, upper New York...
