  1. Comment if You've Had No Issues

2,460 km (1,529 miles) on 2025 Lariat hybrid and no issues.
  2. Is the Mav the best vehicle and value you have ever owned - hybrid only responses.

Probably Yes (but only had it since February, so a bit soon to say for sure). I'm 80 and have owned a variety of wheels from old used rust-buckets to muscle-car ('68 El Camino SS396) to SUVs, numerous pick-ups and motorcycles (US, Japanese & Korean makes). I love the great gas mileage and...
  3. Signs of CV Joints Problems

    Thanks, Waterick! Much appreciated.
  4. Signs of CV Joints Problems

Newbie here: Does the CV problem affect 2025 models?
  5. The Wife Says I Need to Leave the Club

That's it, HeyBales! I'm writing you off -you're beyond help :cwl:
  6. 2 Motorcycles in back of bed

Re: "Did you ride them up...?" Did that once (when I was young & foolish) loading my '72 Kawasaki Mach III into my '68 El Camino. It did NOT go well. Fortunately the injuries were very minor.
  7. Missing my garmins speed limit sign

One weird thing I've noticed: As soon as I exit a school zone, it automatically switches from electric to ICE mode.
  8. Missing my garmins speed limit sign

My '25 Lariat has that feature, but it doesn't work all the time (doesn't detect school zones in my case -which might be kinda important).
  9. WTH Ford Parts? 2025 lariat

    Good points, MavStang
  10. WTH Ford Parts? 2025 lariat

$85 for a little piece of molded plastic?!?!?! Ford Parts people better be sporting guns and masks!
  11. Braking when in reverse

Mine ('25 Lariat) slammed on the brakes a few times when I backed into my driveway. The offending 'obstacle' was leaves of my hedge. I'm more careful backing in now.
  12. The Wife Says I Need to Leave the Club

Sorry dude, but it's time to admit you have a problem and join Maverick Accessorizers Anonymous, get a sponsor, and start going to meetings.
  13. Maverick's new competition no longer competition

Even here in Canada, A/C has become essential in the summer.
  14. No More Black Wheels

Gotta admit I really like what you've done. The black wheels aren't for everyone.
  15. My Maverick and Ranger together

I'm old enough to remember when the Ranger was a COMPACT pick-up.
  16. How do you use your maverick?

Commuting to work + picking up lumber (LOVE the 45 degree tailgate)+ picking up garden/landscape materials (soil, rocks, bricks). Over time, the box is NOT gonna look pretty. A clean pickup box is the sign of a sick mind.
  17. 2025 Gas gauge

From what I've read, the car companies are starting to realize that a lot of us are fed up with everything done via touch-screen, and are planning to start designing in more physical controls. Just be prepared to wait out the long design-to-production cycles.
  18. Funny interaction

 The original VWs were the butt of a lot of practical jokes. At my workplace, guys would secretly pour extra gas into one guy's VW tank. He was bragging about how his mileage kept getting better and better. Then they stopped. He took it back to the dealer and demanded they fix it.
  19. What did your Maverick replace or is it your first?

Did the Jetta survive? Sounds like a clear case of Jetta abuse -hope you have a good lawyer LOL!
