Placed an order this afternoon. Haven't received an email confirmation yet. I confirmed with them twice before leaving that the order had been submitted so I guess we shall see.
My dealer said it’s done when the truck is delivered. My prelim order sheet did not show the liner when I was considering it. It’s possible though that my rep just wanted to have it done at the dealer instead of ordering from Ford. Didn’t dig much into it after I decided to DIY it.
Officially confirmed/submitted and paid a deposit for my Maverick XL.

Should be just at $27k out the door (6% sales tax, X-Plan). Will be doing the spray in bed liner myself and saving $500 since the option does not come from Ford but is done when the...
Take a look in the order section of this form. The build guide/ pricing sheet is a sticky. That will show you invoice and MSRP. You are correct though that invoice and MSRP are not that different.
I have tried and failed many times to get the destination charge removed…. To put things in perspective though, when I bought a 2015 mustang new in 2014 the destination charge was only $800….. Just another thing Ford can use to “falsely” advertise a starting price.
I was always under the impression that the Escape hybrid was FWD only until I checked and sure enough, there is an AWD hybrid. Figured AWD wasn't coming until the PHEV.
I’m surprised that more people are not upset about the navy blue base color for the interior of the XLT and Lariat. That means the dash, door panels, console, and base seat color are going to be blue instead of black. This is honestly the single thing that caused me to order the XL instead of...
I’m guessing the AWD hybrid and PHEV will be the same car as I doubt they could make the current hybrid system AWD (not enough power or provisions to drive rear wheels). Having a larger battery (thus PHEV) will allow them to have an entirely electric rear axle (upping the system power in the...
Drive ratio gets upgraded from 3.63s to 3.81s with the tow package. The badlands bronco sport has this exact drivetrain (including the ratio) so the MPG numbers of the bronco should give a very good idea of MPG of the Maverick 2.0 AWD with the tow package.
If you take a look at the order guide, there is zero mention of carpet vs vinyl floor. Because of that I am 99% certain that the XL through Lariat trims have carpet. The options are for all weather floor mats that replace the carpet mats or an option to have both the all weather mats and the...
If you are looking for power then I would suggest the 2.0 AWD. It should feel pretty quick and have the passing power. The Hybrid would likely feel pretty powerful off the line but likely fall off pretty fast past 30mph or so.
My guess is that this dash was designed for the larger 12" sync 4 screen for either a PHEV or other Top Trim variant that we have yet to see. Just looks too perfectly shaped for a 12" screen.

In one of the Maverick videos on YouTube a Ford Rep (head of customer relations I believe) said that as of right now the Maverick is still on track for its intended production date with no delays. That being said, that comment might be valid now but might not be closer to launch.
Just got an answer back from my dealer that they will honor X-Plan for the Maverick. It is alittle worrying that Ford hasn't indicated that the Maverick will qualify for X-Plan but the dealers seem to think so (had two local dealers agree to X-Plan). My order is suppose to go in today and we...
