2023 Hybrid 10,800 miles: I've experienced Collision Avoidance alert go off couple times with nothing in close proximity. The direct sunlight may have caused false readings each time.
All other times were valid
Do you have an option to schedule a Ford Mobile Service? Link
My first service was at 10,770 miles. The car was in the shop for 5 hours. The oil change was done in the first hour, the four recalls took four hours to complete.
For the 15k service I’m scheduling Mobile Service which is same cost.
Ask if you can keep the used/broken overhead roof dome light front console. I'll buy it for a reasonable price.
I removed mine multiple times after mirror replacement to eliminate a rattle and eventually broke it at it's weakest point :-(
Not risking getting stuck on the side of the road in a heatwave. I’ll get my first oil change, tire rotation and three recalls done after the long weekend.
I park the car outside and had problems with rats nesting overnight in the warm engine compartment. To solve the problem, I placed chunks of scented candle wax on the engine block. No rats since; based on no droppings left behing.
This will be my first visit to a service shop to get an oil change at 10k and 3 recalls. I’ll report back on my experience. Taking Mighty Mav to Vista only because they are a newer, larger center and my neighbor han nothing negative to say about them.
I ordered my Mav from Ken Grody in Carlsbad. The whole experience was flawless down to them not installing front license plate.
Neighbor services his F-150 at NCF in Vista because they have a larger service center and shorter TAT. I'm due for my first oil change so I’ll go there.
Good luck and...
