I sense a redneck "My truck, gun, wife, etc" is bigger than yours attitude here. I didn't "settle" for a Maverick. I wanted a small truck that gets good mileage. I have owned 2 full size Fords and then a Dodge Dakota. This is all i need now.

it was worth it to me to get exactly what I wanted. No one else makes a small hybrid truck. This forum was what kept me informed and not expecting the Hybrid to come quickly, rather than bugging the dealer who wouldn't be able to do anything anyway.

Survived without heated seats long enough to retire. I guss I'll be ok. Heated seats are for women. LOL

I'm not a fan of cheap takeout, so I solved this problem years ago by making my own pizzas with store bought dough. As long as I put frozen dough in the fridge the night before, I can whip up a pizza faster than you can get one from takeout or delivered. Better too. 🍕🍕🍕

In my state, the person who does the rear-ending usually gets a ticket for following too closely. Also it's pretty hard to say the brake check was intentional without video evidence. They can always say they saw a dog, cat, rabbit, etc. in the road. Moral of the story, use the 3 Second Rule.
