I am hearing about the deep sleep now. My 22 with ECO was left in the garage for 2 weeks in 2022. while away I got A notice on my phone after one week that my Maverick was in deep sleep. After another week I got home and started with no problem. So I figured it was suppose to go into the deep...
I have the push button start, and sometimes if I dont push the button hard enough it goes to acc, and I cant shift out of park. I push again harder and works. That is A hybrid. My 22 had the ECO AND NEVER DID THAT.
I ordered flares to put on my 22 with Ford mud flaps and discovered the flares wouldn't work with the wrap back Ford flaps. I kept the flares and installed them on my 24. I found some flaps on Amazon that worked perfect with the flares, and easy to install. made for the Maverick and flares.
I drove from Chandler AZ to Grand Island NE last spring. When I left I had 260 miles on it. Traded my 22 eco for this 24 hybrid. Got 36.6 MPG to there and back to AZ. Drove 65 to 70 on reg roads and 75 to 82 on Interstate. I thought that was good at those speeds.
88 years here installed the front hood protector, wheel well covers and Maverick letters. Oxford white. and that will be enough extra black trim. Dont get my hands dirty anymore, did that 38 years as A Ford mechanic.
I traded my 22 ECO Lariat for a 24 hybrid Lariat and love it. Drove from Arizona to Nebraska and back to Arizona. 2782 miles got 36.6 MPG. 78 TO 80 on interstate 68 to 70 on reg highways. Has all the power I need. Never lost speed up steep grades.
