  1. 2023 Maverick ordering begins August 16, 2022; production begins October 24, 2022

Once the ordering process opens up (Aug 16th for hybrids) will all the dealers on the east coast get a three-hour head start placing their orders in ahead of west coast dealers (two-hour head start Eastern time zone over Mountain and one-hour Eastern time zone over Central)? Maybe Ford will...
  2. Washington Rough Country Tri-fold Tonneau Cover

Is it the Hard Low Profile cover that sells for over $700 or the other one that sells for $280?
  3. Tailgate lift assist on lariat luxury

I'd love to see someone post a pic so I can figure out what you're talking about. Is this a discussion of the tailgate assist dampener/shock absorber-like thing that is sold as a $50 accessory Part No: VNZ6Z99406A10A? Wait a minute, after reading the title of this thread closely, I see it's a...
  4. Burning smell after using remote start - Service Update

See this thread about the TSB. If you have the odor issue, you might want to schedule the update mentioned in the TSB asap. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/tsb-22-2124-2-5l-hybrid-idle-surge-fix-software-update.12761/
  5. Paint Chips Prevention

I've never had a car with paint protection film PPF. Do I want to be careful and not get wax on the film when washing/waxing? I use a spray wax and it might be tricky to keep it off of the film. I am hoping to hear that I can just wax the PPF along with the rest of the truck.
  6. Bedrug question: is water an issue? Bed Rug

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if I buy a bedrug from https://bedrug.com/ will I have to worry about it holding water for a long time and remaining damp? I live in the damn Pacific Northwest (PNW) where it rains 300 days a year and I worry if I put a bedrug in my truck it will seldom dry...
  7. Missouri XL Hybrid Velocity Blue

I'm just curious, if you take the Carvana offer will you come up several bucks ahead when you factor in any tax and license fees you might have paid? What was the MSRP on the truck?
  8. Sharing some mods to my XLT (hood letters, leveling kit, LED grille lights, smoke lights, seat covers)

Seat covers look great, especially considering they are not custom fitted. We're the easy and straight forward to install? Anybody know of any other brands of seat covers that fit well? I'm kinda picky and want a near-perfect fit.
  9. Center console organizer

Sorry but I'm a bit ignorant when it comes to 3D printing. If I want the console tray I'm to go to https://www.etsy.com/listing/1193285026/fits-2022-ford-maverick-center-console and buy a STL file for $10 and then find someone with a 3D printer and use that file to instruct the printer to...
  10. Decals on a maverick

Who put on the hockey stick emblems? They look fantastic. You mentioned "Alex" but I couldn't determine where Alex works, perhaps he did the work?
  11. My Maverick Review [Hybrid Lariat Lux with CoPilot 360 & Mods]

Thanks NightOwl I am also in the Pacific Northwest, Kent WA. I'll be ordering the bedrug soon. Remind me where you bought the lettering for the tailgate? I new to using this forum and I get lost trying to navigate around. I think you said eBay or Etsy. Did you heat the tailgate or the...
  12. My Maverick Review [Hybrid Lariat Lux with CoPilot 360 & Mods]

Was applying the lettering easy? Did you have to use a credit card to carefully work bubbles out from under the stickers? Are you concerned about pealing/fading in the future? Do you think they can be eventually removed and replaced?
  13. My Maverick Review [Hybrid Lariat Lux with CoPilot 360 & Mods]

Was it difficult to put on the Maverick lettering on the tailgate? Are they stickers that will be difficult to remove once they begin to fade or peal? I'd like to put them on my truck but I fear after a year or two they will look like crap and if I try to remove them I'll be left with sticky...
  14. My hybrid Lariat

  15. Flat towing the Maverick?

I'm very pleased to learn the hybrid Maverick can be flat-towed. I bet it will be common to see Mavericks behind many RVs within a few years as it will be a perfect toad/dingy. Thanks for the research.
