  1. FAIL. Throwing in the towel. CPLAY2Air for XLT/XL.

I received the TNVTEC at the weekend and set it up this morning in my XL. Can confirm it works perfectly, painless setup in a couple of minutes. Has maybe a 20-30 sec delay when you turn the car on which I can live with. Now I need to see if anyone wants the CPlay2Air I originally bought...

  3. Fancy shoes: Falken Wildpeak AT 265/60R18 + 18" Black Rhino Arches Wheels on Maverick XL FWD

I've had it for a few months now, about 3,500 miles and the rubbing has not been an issue at all.

Don't have a spare phone to take a pic of it mounted, but here is a screenshot of both screens taken at the same time to give you an idea... Dashscreen showing Apple Carplay Phone Screen showing additional info from Waze
  5. Dash cubby phone holder mount installed

Running Carplay on my iPhone 12, haven't had an android since Jelly Bean. I use the splitscreen for Waze and Music but use my phonescreen to display the upcoming alerts. Do it this way in every car I've had that has Carplay.

I use the phone screen in conjunction with Apple CarPlay...especially for Waze, I can have the reports ahead on the phone screen while having the map and my music on the dash screen.

  8. Fancy shoes: Falken Wildpeak AT 265/60R18 + 18" Black Rhino Arches Wheels on Maverick XL FWD

I'm sitting at about 22.6 with almost 2k miles on the truck. About a 50/50 mix of surface streets and highway. Usually hit some stop-and-go traffic on the way home and I have a bit of a lead foot when I get the chance. Hard on the gas and hard on the brakes.
  9. Area 51 Maverick on Bronco Sport Wheels - 255/65r17 Falken WildPeak A/T3W

You will be fine with those, I'm running 265/60 R18 and get very slight rubbing against the felt on full lock.
  10. If Ford pull this off my Mav will be short lived and the Lightning will be in my yard.

I had experience with the BMW i3 for 5 years. Both were leases since battery tech seems to be following Moore's law for now and I didn't think there would be much resale value in them. The first i3 was the one with the Range Extender built in. On pure electric the range was 64 miles I believe...

not on this one, she had it in her last one and never used it.
  13. A little green with envy over my wife's new ride...

I joked about that exact same thing with her…the options on it are probably more than what my XL cost…heated and cooled cup holders, seriously.
  14. Maverick Test Drive with Hood Bounce

No hood deflector...adjusting your knobs may help with the chick magnet issue too...
  15. A little green with envy over my wife's new ride...

I know what you mean...I did have to adjust my underwear when I saw it backing off the truck.
  16. A little green with envy over my wife's new ride...

The Germans certainly know how to put a car together. The build quality is amazing.
