Ultimately it doesn’t matter what any of us think. Do you like the color. If so great. Get it. If you’re not sure, then wait for what you ordered. You can do it. I’ve been waiting since mid July. It gets built next week. After a few months you stop thinking about it all the time.

I can’t complain either. I got moved back to my original date of March 14th today. It had been bumped out to April 11th and then March 28th. So I’m right back where I started. Hybrid Lariat lux 360

my first my 1st car was a 88 samurai. I took that thing anywhere on or off-road (nothing serious though) and never came close to flipping it. I wish I still had that car. Pathetic hp but still loads of fun.

I think the most surprising thing this week is that my build date wasn’t bumped another month like happened last week (got scheduled for march 14 and then a week later told its April 11). So I guess I’ll take that as a win.

To be fair, mine is a hybrid so its not surprising that yours got to you earlier. Good luck with the fuel tank.

I hear you. I had the exact same build date and rescheduled build date as you. I would like this truck but I don't have to have it. If it bumps out to the May timeframe I'll be going another direction. I just want a good daily driver that will be able to park in a tight downtown parking...

Great to hear. Just be prepared for an email in about a week that pushes your scheduled build date out another month or so.

Yeah I received the kick in the nuts email today also. Last week My lariat Lux hybrid was scheduled for the week of March 14. It is now April 11th. 😐 ordered on July 19th.

Get a quote from mccombs, carmax, and carvana or vroom then compare and go with whoever gives you the best offer. Be sure to account for the tax difference between trading in at mccombs vs the others. Good luck.

It finally happened, I got the email. -Received email at 11:12 central time -scheduled to build week of 3/14 -Alto blue, hybrid, lariat, lux package -Texas -originally ordered and confirmed 7/19 -Maxwell ford, Austin About time too, I had started to seriously look around at other options...

I’m in the same boat as you. I ordered and received confirmation on July 19th. Lariat hybrid lux package. Sat at priority 19 for a while , then at the end of November I’m suddenly priority 2. Sounded great, but I still haven’t been scheduled for a build date. I’m starting to get to the point...

Except a reservation is not an order. A reservation means exactly nothing except something to brag to media and stockholders about. Unless a customer actually flips it to an order, nothing will ever be built, so a dealer cant do what you are describing.

According to my dealers inventory manager I have been assigned priority code 2 by Ford for my hybrid lariat lux order. No vin assigned yet though. Now what? Anyone have an idea on if being priority 2 means anything is imminent?

I had a brief ride in a hybrid xlt maverick a couple weeks ago at an outdoor Ford event in Austin. It felt good but was hard to tell exactly how good from so short a ride. There was a brief acceleration section of the route though that you could tell the truck had more than adequate...

Like everyone else, I just got the email as well. At least I have verification that I have an order in and will get a truck eventually. This was the first thing I received since my initial order confirmation email on July 19th.

Agreed. That’s why I said most. They clearly started production of some hybrid retail orders.
