Uh, wow. Kind of a necro here. I ended up ordering FWD, so I'm having the dealer install one. That way if something acts up, it's their guy who did it instead of me, and it'll preserve the warranty.

Mine took about an hour, but most of that was probably me not noticing I had it.

Another 9/16 order here. Mine is going thru COVP but something had bugged out and the dealer's going to be escalating it to his boss to get everything thru. I have a COVP tracking number at least. Edit: and I got the confirmation email from Ford the same day I phoned it in. We did COVP yesterday.

To respond to the OP, my wife doesn't like Cruise either. It's just something she doesn't want to futz around with. But, I use it because it lets me unload maintaining the speed limit to the truck. I tend to be really unlucky when cops are around, dunno why. My guess is they don't want people...
