  1. Approach angle after lift?

    I haven’t. Just researching.
  2. Approach angle after lift?

What kind of approach angle are people getting with these 1.5” and 2” lifts and bigger tires? Has anyone taken a rough measurement?
  3. Ride feel on lifted non-FX4 AWD Mav?

Looking to hear from non-FX4 EB AWD owners who have installed a spring lift kit like the Eibach or H&R. Specifically, any issues? Any observations about the ride feel? (E.g. change in bumpiness on gravel, shocks bottoming out occasionally, Smoother on paved road, etc) The stock shocks are...
  4. Pictures of lifted mav w/stock tire size?

They are almost certainly 235’s - I went to the Ford build configurator, and when selecting your wheel style, it automatically selects 235’s A/T’s. After seeing this picture, I think I can live with the look of the 235’s on a lift. In my case I’m looking at the H&R lift (1.5” in front, 0.9 in...
  5. Pictures of lifted mav w/stock tire size?

Thanks for the photo. Are they 235’s?
  6. Pictures of lifted mav w/stock tire size?

Oh wow. Stock tire size with the 2” lift looks pitiful indeed. Thank you for your pictures.
  7. Pictures of lifted mav w/stock tire size?

You know what they say about Opinions. They are like belly buttons - every one has one. :) it may, indeed look like a skateboard to me as well, but I just don’t remember seeing one.
  8. Dudd

Did you notice a stiffer or softer ride after you put on the Eibach springs?
  9. My 2" Eibach Pro-Lift Kit Springs DIY Install on EcoBoost Maverick XLT AWD

Looks great! Do the H&R front springs provide more stiffness, like what Toner experienced with his front Eibach springs?
  10. ICONIC SILVER Maverick Photos Thread

Notice any difference in the ride. Stiffer? Softer?
  11. Recommendations for suspension/lift work

Looking to get an Eibach pro lift kit installed on my AWD Mav in the Portland/Beaverton area in Oregon. Any recommendations for where to get the work done? Thanks in advance.
  12. Pictures of lifted mav w/stock tire size?

Any pictures out there of a 2” lifted Mav with stock tire size 225/65R17, or 235/65R17? I’d benefit from the better clearance on forest trails, but I’m not excited about the added weight of larger tires. Though not sure what it would look like. XLT AWD w/stock wheels.
  13. 235/70/17- ?

Thanks. Firestone Destination A/T2 comes in 235/70R17 if low resistance, weight and noise are high on one’s priority list.
  14. Enough brake clearance for 16” rims?

Will my brake calipers/rotors still fit if I went down from 17” to 16” rims, or will it lead to clearance issues? Looking for a way to achieve a larger outside tire diameter without sacrificing MPG. Switching out my 225/65R17 XLT stock tires with 245/65R17 tires will give me that extra 1” in...
  15. Skinny and tall - why not?

Great great thread. If I can only find an 225/70R17 (yet to be successful), I would do it in a heartbeat. 225/75R17 - me waiting for a braver soul to try it out and report back.
  16. Winter tires for FWD Hybrid Maverick?

What do you think of the CrossContact ATR’s now that you’ve had them for a little longer? Have you driven them over much gravel? They seem to match the on-road off-road qualities I’m after, but there aren’t many reviews out there yet. Also curious if you considered the Firestone Destination A/T2...
  17. Area 51 Maverick XL on 1” Rough Country level kit + BF Goodrich koa 245/65/17 tires + surf board racks in Hawaii

I love the look. One question though... did you do anything to the (corrected) *rear* suspension as well? The back looks higher to me.
  18. Tested: Slippery Mode is best for highest MPG (in Hybrid Maverick)

I wonder whether Slippery mode has any positive effect on MPG for the Ecoboost drivetrain (compared to ECO mode.) Clearly there’s no regenerative breaking in this case, but I was thinking in terms of gear shift points. Are they programmed in a way that is more favorable to fuel efficiency than...
  19. Lane-keeping system stopped working?

So a quick update on my issue. Turns out the issue was me. It was a user error. I used the feature so rarely that I had forgotten there’s a lane-assist button at the end of the turn signal handle. After I pushed it to enable lane-assist, it now seems to be working. I’ll be testing out...
  20. Ford Plans

Considering adding the bulb coverage for $70? Give me $50 only, and I’ll replace them if any of them ever go out on you. ;)
