The rails have a part number but no one has gotten a set yet. I bought mine used and they were missing. No luck getting them yet. NZ6Z-9955200 $320.60 retail cost.
Factory remote start on the fob is a no-go once it is built. Aftermarket maybe but that would make its own issues.
I would expect you won't get another Maverick until 2024 unless you pay way over sticker for it. I would buy the salvage and have it fixed. Isn't that bad.
I pull a 6x12 shaved ice trailer with mine with a 4500 watt generator in the truck bed. The trailer weighs 2650 empty, probably pushing the 4k tow limit loaded and with full water tanks. Truck does great!
Mine has had all the speakers replaced and it still isn't great. Needs a sub bad. I've been hoping someone would come out with a system that fits without making huge modifications but no dice yet.
I bought my truck from Vroom. Loaded XLT 2.0 EB AWD FX4 4K LUX w/sunroof for $35,900. It stickered for $33,xxx. Had a scuff on the door I buffed out when it got here they gave me $500.00 back for so $35,500.
Meanwhile the truck I ordered in December will not be built this year. I own a side...
Four BF Goodrich Trail Terrain AT tires.
245/70/17 size.
These tires have less than 3000 miles on them. No uneven wear and no damage or repairs.
I bought my Maverick with these tires on it and had no need for them, I put a set of OEM FX4 takeoff's on the truck.
These tires are about $210...
I came from a 2016 Colorado short bed crew cab and I don't find it any more annoying than the Colorado. For the most part it does exactly what I need it to with minimal extra work on my part.
I paid $35,500 for my loaded XLT w/every option and several mods. It had 4,900 miles on it. They have gone up since then (March/April) but offers seem to have gone down for those wanting to sell. Increasing interest rates have a lot to do with it I think. I was satisfied with the deal I got.
I...
A new Colorado was cheaper than my Maverick. I had a 2016 and liked a lot of things about it but it had a TON of "GM" specific issues in the 68k miles I owned it-enough to keep me away from another one.
-steering shaft failed at 34k (warranty covered)
-driver's door armrest material shrunk and...
You would essentially have to replace all the radio modules with the Sync modules. There is a thread in the audio section. It is very involved.
Better to use the app unless you want to spend several hundred $$ and do major surgery on your truck.
Funny story, the truck in Blake's video is now my truck. He sold it and got a hybrid and I bought it. Still has same speakers he put in. They are good. I want to add a sub but waiting to see if anyone comes out with a drop-in solution like I had in my Colorado.
I wanted the Santa Cruz and I liked it but had a few issues
-To get 5k towing you have to have the SEL Premium AWD which is $37,xxx
-The SEL Premium has a DCT transmission that has been-lets say less than reliable.
-The big deal breaker for me was the bed is only 18in deep. I pull a shaved ice...
I have been afraid of this very issue. I drive a Ford Police Explorer for work and the CV axles have to be changed CONSTANTLY.
I bought my Maverick used with a 1" Rough Country and bigger AT tires. I expect to get shafted the same way if I have to take it for an axle issue which seems to be an...
Sport mode is extremely easy to add back in with Forsan along with ECO. Its a hoot. The little truck is peppy and fun to drive. I've been enjoying mine.
I bought my truck from Vroom with 4900 miles. MSRP was $33,390. I paid $35,900 but it had several mods installed already-1" Rough Country leveling kit, 245/70 BFG tires, all speakers upgraded, etc. Once it got here it had a minor scuff on the c pillar that wasn't pictured so they gave me $450...
I bought a Maverick with every option I ordered plus some from Vroom with 4k miles on it. I paid a premium but nothing like what dealers are wanting for them. Ended up being about 1k over sticker which was fine with me because I sold my last truck for 2k more than I paid 4.5 years earlier and...
As others said-normal for a direct injection engine. Mine is the same way. These trucks have no sound proofing under the hood which is why your hear it more.
