This is the answer right here. It's not about finger prints or dropping the screen it's 100% about all the micro scratches that show up right away. These screens are very prone to scratches even if you think your fingers and the screen are clean. After a few years it will bad

I will agree I didn't think about long term cost of tires alone with larger than 18". I'm not making mine out to be an off roader, that's what my bronco is for, so I'm looking more for a clean street truck look to my maverick.
