My experience has been some severe non-response to acceleration after stopping and then merging into traffic. Traffic circles are particularly troublesome. Several times, it has caused near accidents because I smashed the pedal down, and there is no response. When it happens, it is frightening...
I was going to say that myself—diminished value is a very real consequence and well known here in the USA. I would get an attorney to write a letter and certainly get several more Collision estimates. There is no way it is worth $21,000 in any currency to fix a Maverick. I wish you good luck.
I just checked with NHTSA, and my VIN shows four past-due recalls. I actually had to replace my battery at 16,000 miles recently. I think that was related to the latest battery recall. Not sure about compensation but certainly better outreach and loaner cars would help.
This is a super fun post. My 22 FX4 encounters plenty of sand here in Baja and does very well. I've never aired down my tires and have managed very well, even over the Soft stuff. My personal theory is that the Maverick's light weight is a huge asset in the sand. I have actually helped heavier...
Very cool, especially the single stand-up jetski—you don't see those very often these days. Classic! Agreed that the AC works super here in 100-degree Baja as well. And the Maverick looks clean in white. I'm glad I ordered my new Mav in Space white. Cheers!
I'm excited about the availability of Space White; I always liked it. I think it will look great on the 25. I've been very happy with my 22 XLT FX4, but I'm super excited for my space white Tremor. To be honest, I love all the new additions. I'm looking forward to the larger screen, the B&O...
Just ordered a space white tremor. Basically, no options were available except for the sunroof, which I did not want anyway. Replacing my 2022 FX4 XLT. I'm looking forward to the Onyx black, the new suspension and lift, and the B&O upgrade. The price will be $41,000, but after driving the...
I've said it here before, and I'll say it again—18 to 20 MPG. On pure highway driving, I can do 26/27 MPG. This is a 2022 XLT FX4 with 245/65/17 slightly upsized all-terrain Geolanders. I still love it, but the mileage, especially in the city, is lower than stated.
This posted fast! I am just sharing my basic Baja buildout- Tires Geolander 245/65/17, Yak Rack, Custom Carbon stripes, and Tailgate letters. Happy in the Sand!
I one hundred percent have the same situation with my 2022 XLT FX4. Especially the bed rails around the pick up bed. It is probably the biggest disappointment I have with the truck.
Of all of my favorite features on my 22 maverick EBFX4 the keypad is definitely in the top five. Being able to leave my keys hidden in the truck when I go surfing probably one of my most used features. I think Ford let many people down with that change. I think the stick on one looks aftermarket...
I ordered one with my Mav in 22. I used it exactly one time and have been storing it ever since. For me, it was cumbersome and used valuable space when not in use. It is not worth it except for what may be particular applications. Cheers!
Thought I would share my recent real-life recent experience with EVs. I drive a 22 Maverick eco-boost FX4, and it's great. Recently, I rented a Kia EV6 while on a trip to Southern California, and it's a fantastic car. My first charging experience went smoothly, with an 80% charge within 30...
