I think that Ford will have to say something at the Annual meeting on Thursday. If they ask for questions I will sure bring it up. I have had Ford stock for a long time and they usually "surprise" us with new stuff at these gatherings.
I agree. In Tennessee here I could only find 1 Ranger XL extended cab base model in a 500 mile range when I was in the market. Almost 95% were XLT or above 4 door models ranging in price from $ 32000 and up.

The Santa Cruz does have the Hyundai Warranty going for it. We do have a Hyundai and the warranty is really good! My wife will buy nothing but a Hyundai because of the warranty and she survived a traffic accident that did not penetrate the passenger compartment while totaling the vehicle.
When I was shopping for a truck I did look at the Colorado with the Manual but the dealers around me did not even have one in stock to look at and drive. I would have had to order it and the dealer was not "enthusiastic" about ordering a manual.
April 19. Ford will let Hyundai have the weekend hoopla and then take away all their thunder on the following Monday and have the entire week to showcase the new Maverick.
I hope for the hand brake! We have the electronic brake and it is a pain in the "you know where". Some time it takes multiple attempts to put it on and to disengage it. The maintenance tech says there is noting wrong with it.
