Man, that a really good looking cost effective package you got. I tell you, these Dextero tread pattern on the sidewall look sexy man...I just think it's a great looking tread and tire. Congrats!!!
I have no idea, but RF has so much nostalgia for me, and the fact that it's a solid brand seals the deal for me. BTW.........that red Toyota extra cab you had......man, I'd love to have that, those were the days, mini-truckin.
I don't find them distracting at all. Yes, you can hear it more than the OE tires, but I really don't expect that it's going to be an issue for you. Please make sure to post pics!!
FYI....as I mentioned earlier I'm thread, Walmart Tire Center has a policy of not mounting tires where plus sizing is more than one size. So ask before you spend time waiting only to have them come back and say NOPE. I just ended going to a local tire shop, who mounted them for me.
As you might guess, a bigger heavier tire with wider contact patch is going to leech away at the hybrid MPG, but the offset is the benefit of improved traction in the dirt and the nicer appearance is worth it. Since I WFH, I don't drive every single day, so mpg is not the end all for me.

+ 5-6K on them
+ Function well in wet and dry and do fine in snow (for a non-winter tire) as a result of the tread blocks.
+ I would not call them noisy at all. I just did a 2200 mile road trip and tire noise never crossed my mind. They do make more noise than the Continentals my Hybrid came...
Yes. I've done city driving and a 2200 road trip to California and back, and run with them in last winter, and entering this winter. So far so good. Good value, and considering the tire compound I think they're fine in the snow. I enjoy the relatively plush ride.
Please re-read my post. I didn't say NOTHING. I said they didn't add value, that's my opinion and experience.
Glad they were responsive to your needs, but it doesn't require a Ford PR Forum crew to get things done. Action was always just a phone call away for you.
Glad they're helping you stay...
No, thank you. You don't ever really seem to add any value to helping me or others in the past.
All you do is pass it along to Ford Customer Service, and try to give the perception that you're doing something of value for us, you're not. I can make a phone call and get the same result. Trust...
So I'll add myself to the list of Hybrid owners with the shudder.
- Initially <5K miles it was a very mild vibration. Conditions: Started up in my garage. Mild 70 degrees temperature, under acceleration, very light incline in the road. Happened a few times and just made a mental note of it.

I had the same reaction, and then I felt extreme shame because I knew it was "simulated" shifting. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I've only done it twice in 6K miles...because I choose to have a sense of personal integrity.
@Glenda , I do not have them, but these instruction I wrote should help you get the job done. I recall the instructions provided with the tow hitch were nothing special, and I think the one I provide is more helpful. Good luck.
And in the box was just the tow hitch, the bolts, and the mediocre...
