Its yours, if you like it, do it. But as an alternative opinion, you might wanna play with something a little more subtle, maybe sliver or matte black stripes.

Let's all be clear, the manager calling it a "confusion" is simply not believable. They are not amateurs, this is a profit tactic. Pushing this on the vehicle and the customer puts them in the challenging position of having to pushback. Glad you did. And congrats.
