We'll it finally came, a letter from Ford about my Lariat Rapid Red First Edition Hybrid. Here's the content of the letter. Basically it states that mine will not arrive until next year (stinks). Also they are almost sold out for Hybrids. They did not say when next year and this stinks because...

Mine shows it as well, also my Indiana dealer at the top right.

It seems like Rapid Red First Edition’s aren’t very popular. Mine is that with the Lariat trim. Being so few maybe they will be built sooner rather than later. I could only wish.

My dealer wouldn't mine until a put down a $500 deposit. Is this standard Procedure? I have my order # but no vin. It's been about 6 weeks.

I love the First Edition Rapid Red, but you If I am correct, also order it in Area 51. I ordered the Rapid Red Lariat 1st Edition and can't wait to receive it.

I ordered mine on 8/27, hoping for this year. Even though I don't have a VIN my dealer gave me my order number. I have a Ford Account when I check reservations, orders etc. It shows nothing. Order # is B333. Shouldn't it show THAT!!

I got my 4 digit number from my dealer, would he have the VIN number at the same time or does that come later?

First Edition also includes the Soft Tonneau Cover, Power Tilt Sliding Moonroof, Black Painted Skull Caps, Black Painted Wheels 18" Hybrid, plus decals, the Ruby Red paint is extra.

I ordered mine on 8/27 as well. Lariat Lux Hybrid, First Edition, mud flaps and smoke hood protector. I hope it is before the first of the year as I pre traded my 2014 truck, F150 Lariat 4 door 53K. The dealer has it and I am down to my wife's CX-5 Mazda. But I am retired.

Ordered mine on August 20 in Rapid Red, before I saw late availability, oh well, retired and driving my wife's car.

Bought a Lariat First Edition Hybrid Rapid Red and exterior and interior warranty for $5,500 out the door with a 2014 F150 Lariat Crew Cab and 52,500 miles.
