yes, there was a program to reprogram the pcm so it wouldn't cut back on how much the battery worked after 10 years...It's probably running BETTER than the past few years you owned it... p.s. it never quit working on battery, just didn't work nearly as much...

Weird, my truck never detected people until AFTER I had the recall done, was backing up the other day and it beeped when saw someone coming up the sidewalk - man, they must've been trucking (4+mph) for it to see them!!
