I'm not a fan of the gray and white covers. I wish they were available in all gray.
I consider myself a natural born slob. I know given enough time I'll spill coffee or soda on the
driver's seat. If it leaves a stain it sure will stand out on the white area.
Thanks guys. I didn't know the visor slides. That's good.
I was looking at the visor at the dealership but didn't notice that it slides.
Every time I visit this site I learn something new.
BTW, I ordered the 2025 Maverick AWD Lariat hybrid.
Along with the 4k tow package.
I don't know about replacing the visor, but I do wish the visor had an extension that can be pulled out when the visor is positioned to block sunlight on the driver side window. Just about every vehicle I've owned had a visor with extension. It does come in handy at times.
My 2003 Toyota Tacoma that I bought new runs great and is my daily driver. After my 2025 Maverick Lariat hybrid arrives it will become my "previous" vehicle. It will be a gift to my nephew.
Unfortunately he will have a long wait because it may be several months before my Maverick shows up.
Today I ordered my 2025 Lariat AWD hybrid. When I first started looking at the Mavericks at the dealer I was told they will start to arrive in Jan 2025. Later, just before leaving a deposit I was told that it could take up to 9 months. Maybe they were playing games with me. I don't know.
I have just returned from my Maverick test drive. The brakes do grab and the salesman warned me about them. So I did some brake testing before pulling into traffic. Nothing bad, but it will take a little bit of time to get used to them.
It was a great test drive and I liked everything about the...
I don't want to be a pest, but I'd like to ask a few more questions...
Are the Touchlink Truck Bed lights installed at the factory or dealership?
My guess is that the wiring runs between the bed liner and truck bed.
If so, then the wiring is concealed, correct? Is it better to let the factory...
I have a few more questions, instead of starting a new thread, I'll continue here...
When I take my test drive tomorrow I think it's likely I'll place an order for the 2025 Lariat AWD hybrid.
Questions about miscellaneous items:
How do the Ford all-weather floor liners, tray style compare to...
Thanks folks for the good ideas. It's interesting that others did not need to leave a deposit.
I'll ask my dealer about that. Also about any price increase while waiting for the order to
be completed.
I'll pay attention for rattles and grabbing brakes.
In a couple of days I'll test drive a Maverick hybrid. My guess is that it drives like any other modern vehicle.
But should I be aware of anything unique with the Maverick?
For me the most important features to test are seat comfort, visibility, instrument control, acceleration and handling...
