Just got my build date yesterday. Put it in the tracker and guess what? Excluding incorrect data, I have the longest wait period from order to schedule, 273 days! What did I win?!?! 😉

Well that figures. I have checked EVERY week since scheduling began hoping to get a build date and being disappointed and the one week I forget, my truck gets scheduled! Here's hoping that I was one of the last June orders.

Some of us have been waiting since the second week of June!

I'm in Northern Colorado. Have seen zero Mavs but saw a Rivian (same color as this one) just two days ago. Don't know what I think of them.

You are correct Sir. I stand corrected... The “starter” for the Prius is a motor-generator that runs off of 500 volts which comes from the hybrid battery (and inverter). The 12-volt battery is not connected to that circuit, and cannot start the engine by itself.

Doesn't use a normal starter. I have a prius and have had to replace the 12volt when it went bad and the car wouldn't start.

The traction battery does not start the engine. It's the 12 volt that does that and powers the electronics. The traction battery only powers the drive motor. If they replaced the 12 volt, it's probably something else.

I keep telling myself that at least I'm not the only one in the ordered in June boat but after yesterday, seven weeks of scheduling and nothing... Thursdays have become quite deflating.

Agreed. I got confirmation 6/14 and didn't get scheduled again. I think I need to stop watching this forum. Get more depressed every week I get passed over.

If you want to experience what loud is REALLY like, try driving up I-80 Outside Larime Wyo. In a Prius c! I suspect the noise in my maverick (if ever built) will not compare!

That may be true. I've heard people say they ordered several and took the first one delivered, canceling the others. Others have ordered one then found another already at a dealership and bought that one instead. Who knows the truth tho.

Deposits don't matter. I ordered June 14th and put down $1000 deposit, got my confirmation the same day and have heard nothing since. (Other than I get a FITS kit some day).
