This happened to me. Turned out I had a bad batch of Rain-X brand wiper fluid (not additive) that turned ‘gummy’. Plugged up the in-tank filter. Had to take the tank off and out to clean it all out. No problems since and I no longer use Rain-X branded anything.
My experience so far…
Pros: Great gas mileage, amazing utility, fun to drive (especially on long trips)
Cons: Build quality is awful. Radio/Media interface is a joke. Endless recalls. Truck dies in the middle of busy traffic.
Add me to the list. Truck died in the middle of a busy road. I was able to pull over and let it sit. Started it up, got another couple miles down the road, and it died again. Full plethora of warning messages. Let it sit some more - it started and I was able to drive it home. Pulled the codes...
I just went through this. Light came on. Pulled code. Dealer said it was safe to drive until I brought it in.
Took it in. New exhaust installed. They had to reroute some wiring and coolant lines underneath. Dealer gave me a loaner. Took two weeks…

at Nokian Outpost APT. Great capability and minimal impact to MPG. Weighs about 30lbs (depending on size), so minimal impact on things like driveshafts. I love mine.
Head to the auto parts store. Buy replacement 12v battery. Swap out. Enjoy problem free driving.
My understanding is that the Ford factory battery is weak. And the dealer will replace it with another weak battery. I did not get an AGM, but some people have went that route.
