I've looked at all 3 types and decided the hard rollup the best. It doesn't take up bed space and opens fully, secures items, looks great and watertight. I hot the Truxedo Sentry hard roll up tonneau cover. Very happy with it.
I'd like some new options such as factory lift 2", possibly rear seat opening to truck bed for long items, a bit more towing option like 5,000 lbs, and roof racks. Also option of heated seats separately.
Yes I love those 60's Mustangs. I'd like to get another one someday. The 289 was a great engine for a light car and easy to we work on. I once changed the water pump on my 65 right on the side of a street in Milwaukee.
When I first test drove a 2022 Maverick, one of the 1st. Things I noticed was how comfortable the seat was. I have the 2022 Ecoboost XLT AWD with towing package.
It was one of the 1dt things I bought. Had this Truxedo Sentry hard roll up tonneau cover for 2 1/2 years. No problems whatsoever. Either it's closed or if hauling anything, fully rolled up.
I've looked at all the pros & cons on tonneau covers, retractable (takes up bed space, costly), flip up (not good if needing entire bed, blocks view) soft rollup (too flimsy and not for security). So I went with a hard rollup, from Truxedo, Sentry. Fits perfectly, looks great snd doesn't take...
I've been getting very good mileage on my 2022 Ecoboost XLT AWD with towing package. I have almost 29,000. No longer interstate trips, mostly rural roads and using AC. 30.8 MPG since day one!!!
I'd luv the option of the Maverick sitting higher, at least 2 inches. Maybe 5,000 towing capacity, and option of heated seats & power seats without an entire package.
I used to like Chevys, but had 3 Mustangs, then an old Ford Ranger. I was looking at mid-sized trucks like Ranger or Colorado, then Maverick came along.
