That is something i may be interested in after seeing some measurements today. But i'll drive it a bit and see how i like it but I've been sitting at 36 inches off the ground for like 15 years. I dunno how much I'm going to like sitting at 28 inches.
Good to know there are options going to be...
wow wow wow... that is loooowwww . I measured my F150, I'm used to sitting at about 36 inches off the ground. This is only 28". Very well may be shopping for a 4-6 inch lift kit.
Also, thanks for the pics!
I'm hoping it's got at least some basic offroading chops. I need good snow traction plus i spent a good amount of my spring/fall at lakes which require a lot of gravel and dirt driving and sometimes that dirt is mud if it recently rained especially in the spring. I don't need it to rock crawl...
Were you not aware of the timeline? They collected orders well in advance of going into production. Production started like August 18th or so, before that date they weren't making them for consumer orders. So it's been 6 days bro.
Limited build options might be a reason. Possibly less technology due to limited chip supply ? But my guess is at least on the 2L version.... there's nothing truly new here. They're just doing the taco bell thing and taking ingredients they already have and putting them together in a...
I may or may not get a lift, depends how low to the ground i feel in it. I'm used to sitting at full-size 4x4 pickup height.
The other things i want to add when they are available for this truck are a full front grill guard or as i call it 'Deer Armor' and i want one of those pull out bed...
I would have gotten the hybrid if it had have also had the all wheel drive option or 4x4. But as it was only front wheel drive, i feel like i was forced to pick the ecoboost. I live somewhere they is a wide variety of terrain: snow, ice, mud, dirt, gravel. Not confident with having just a 2...
Haven't decided. I'll see what the deals are when its here. I too am concerned with the new-ness of it as well as the emerging E-truck market. And really i wouldn't have minded this in a 4 wheel hybrid or all electric model. That might have had me pick a different model than the 2L gas...
There was a post on here yesterday of a Mav side by side a car and that was what I noticed was they were essentially the same height. After riding around in a FX4 F150 for 18 years worth, i feel like this is going to be an adjustment for me sitting much lower than i'm used to. Likely will...
Not sure why but the thing that jumps out at my with your picture is how low-ish it sits to the ground. I'm coming from an F150 so i think i'm going to need to get used to riding lower to the ground with the common car-folk lol. Wonder if there will be lift kits available? Good 6 inch lift...
This looks very similar to my build, i got the cyber orange fx4 2L . I got the hard tri-fold box cover though instead of the soft roller one but the look will be similar.
