For everyone talking about weight, it doesnāt really matter on the hybrid due to the regen braking. EVs are the heaviest vehicles around and yet theyāre still far more efficient than gasoline vehicles on an MPGe basis. Also consider that the hybrid gets better mileage in the city with stop & go...
Has anyone been able to modify the number of turn signals that flash when you push the stalk halfway? It's a very popular mod to increase it from the default 3 flashes (which I feel is not enough to change lanes) to 5 or any other amount. It's well documented for F150s, Escapes, etc but the menu...
I enjoy the one-pedal-driving-esque behavior of eco a lot. Feels cool slowing down so much when you let go of the brakes, like youāre driving a big truck with lots of aerodynamic resistance and weight.
2 Mavericks and a massive $1000 repair bill due to running over a tire in the middle of the road at night. Ask how I know. Itās like $450-$500 at Fairway Ford though so it goes a long way.
3 brakes.
"Parking brake" a physical caliper that holds on to two wheels (the rears in our case). You can hear it extend when you pull the parking brake lever.
"Foot pedal brakes" brake rotors on all four wheels, but with primary braking force applied to the front two. This is what auto hold...
I'm pretty sure they'd be Blue. For the Maverick specifically, since it's not a plug-in, all the energy comes from ICE anyway and both engine options are some form of ICE. Model E should be reserved for full EV platforms like the Mach-E and F150 Lightning (despite the traditional styling).
I had the same experience as the other reply. Took about 10-20 minutes with regular/steady movement on the progress bar which was nice to see. After it completed, the actual version number didnāt change until the next day though, not sure why.
FYI to anyone updating you may have to hit ācheck for updatesā twice. The first time it just updated the ālast checkedā date and time, I did it again and now itās downloading.
I can confirm I originally had a version lower than the post Iām replying to!
edit: Interesting, I just completed the...
I'm not sure that rep is right, Chapman was able to lock in the 0% when I bought in mid January. Now, it's possible that 0% was also being offered as a new rate, but I thought it had expired and so they had to use summer 2021 rates based on my order date.
Same thing with seemingly random connection delays. On my other vehicle that has wireless CarPlay (terrible) I noticed that āstarting navigationā in Google maps often encourages it to go ahead and connect, but with the wired CarPlay in my maverick it doesnāt seem to make any difference what I do.
